Organic Farro Semipearled, 16 Oz

Very good grain and tastes great in a stew with shitake and mushrooms and broth and onions, garlic, spices.

The farro was packaged as advertised. It cooked well.

We just discovered farro. This product has good texture and flavor. Bought it on Amazon for $12 to save time trying to find it in stores. Looked in stores for a second package and learned I paid too much. If Amazon is easier for you, I recommend this farro. But you might look around your local supermarket or Co-op for a better price. I bring 2 cups vegetable broth to a boil. Pour in 1 cup farro. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder. Simmer 15-20 minutes until broth is almost all absorbed. A very versatile product!

I like the nuttier texture of semi-pearled farro. Takes a few extra minutes to cook. Product was clean and as described.
