HAIRPLAY Molding Paste, 5 Ounce

I love this product. I have been using it and only it for over 20 years. I hope they never stop producing it. Highly recommend for fine short hair. Looks just like paste when dispensing it and the scent is not great, but it works! Does not make it still like hairspray and is not greasy like pomade. It gives my hair enough hold to stay in place all day.

I've been using KMS paste for 14 years. It works very well with my hair. I would recommend this for people that do not have thick hair. It keeps my hair in whatever direction that is needed. It's more of a light-medium hold though. What I like best about it is the smell (which I get compliments on) and that you can run your hands through your hair and it doesn't feel like you have gel or hairspray in your hair. I get best results when drying my hair completely and then applying a small amount throughout my hair. If you put it in while your hair is damp, it will not hold your hair well. I've turned multiple friends onto this product. Good price on Amazon.

My hair is fine, and after several months of meds, my hair appeared to be thinning. I searched on line for thickening products and found KMS Hairplay Molding Paste. Great product. I use a very small amount, and my hair looks better than ever. However, I do not like the pump. I would much prefer a jar, and because of the packaging, I may look for another product. Considering the price of this product, I wonder if I am getting all the product with a pump. Price is a consideration, and I lowered my rating to a 4 because of the pump.

My product works great but package was left outside of gate and javelina destroyed the packing box but after cleaning off product I was still able to use it.

I've used this stuff for years and I like it. It strikes a nice balance between being overly sticky like a lot of cheaper pomades are, and providing some definition and hold to your hair that helps keep things in place without feeling like you need to douse it in crunchy hairspray.Do not like how expensive it's gotten though. I remember it used to be $20 per tube, now we're almost at $30? Inflation's insane.

Super terrific for hold and volume! Just a small amount, about pea sized, creates shape, and outstanding hold. A “must” in hair styling! Use with a foam mousse and voila!!

I will give this product a nine it’s just as good as any other salon product. I like how it ain’t heavy weight on your hair. I love the smell. It’s not strong.

This stuff is truly great, and one 3.4fl oz. bottle seems to last over 6 months. (I have what many refer to as a pixie cut and I use the product on the top, front and a bit of the sides, daily)If new to the product...give yourself time to rehearse, unless you are going for the "Something about Mary" look 😳Ok. Seriously. This product is excellent for sculpting specific pieces of hair , i.e., fringe or flat spots. It also helps greatly in hiding or fixing really bad and chunked-up hair cuts, etc. I find that it works best on short and lightly dampened hair. The product is sticky-thick, but diluting it prior to application deminesses the reason you probably purchased it. If it seems too thick to use, use less, work from your scalp outward, and THEN add tiny amounts of water to your hair for pliability.The product does not flake if hair is combed (but will leave hair course until re-wet or washed) It is easily reactivated with wet fingertips.Caution. The last use listed in the instructions states "use on dry hair for definition". If using on dry hair - just know -- where you place it is where it stays. Really hard to distribute on dry hair.Hope this helps!
