Easy to install, works great
easy to install, works great I've been using these for 3+ years. So far, no termites. We get a lot of rain in this area and the cardboard 'bait' in the stakes will get wet and dissolve which makes the orange indicator pop up. When I pull the old stake out, I always break it open with a hammer so check for termites. All I've found are earth worms and an occasional ant. I have about 25 of these around my house and over the course of a year, I probably replace all of them at least once. It gets kind of expensive but still a lot cheaper than paying a pest control company.

Reliable, easy to install, fraction of the price
We have purchased these stakes to help monitor and control potential termite activity around my home, and overall I’m very satisfied. The kit is easy to set up — the instructions are clear, and the stakes go into the ground quickly with minimal effort. I really like the pop-up indicator feature; it’s simple but effective for checking whether there’s been any termite activity without having to dig or disturb the soil. After installing them, I felt much more confident about catching any early signs of termites before they become a serious problem. They seem to do their job well, and the bait inside is convenient for killing foraging termites. The price is reasonable too, especially compared to professional pest control services. The only small drawback is that the stakes can be a bit fragile if you try to push them into harder ground — I recommend softening the soil a bit first to avoid cracking the plastic. Other than that, it’s a solid product that provides good peace of mind and an easy, affordable way to protect your property. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to keep an eye on termite activity around their home. Our neighbors spend hundreds of $ for the same control from the professional service.

Way cheaper than a pest company
There are some companies now using bait stations. TO get a contract the cost was $500 up front (commission to the sales person plus extra for the company), and $80 per quarter. Thats a lot of money. I gave the full kit a try. In a week I had two stations pop the orange piece on top so I replaced them immediately. In the next month I had several more pop up and I just kept swapping them out with fresh ones. I've bought two full kits, and a few replacements. Now I'm only getting a pop up on a rare occasion. Maybe once every couple of months. I have swapped a couple older ones that were original and it seemed the stuff inside just disintegrated or were eaten and wasnt enough to trigger the orange thing on top. Pros: They work. I was getting termite tunnels on my deck and some around the house. I've had none at all since I started using these. Cost is way cheaper than a pest company. Even if you have to buy a bunch of refills. Pest company is $820 for the first year and $320 each year after. My buddy works for a pest company and is very close for the owner. Bait stations are VERY profitable for them. They send a worker out once a quarter to check each one and add more bait as needed. Initial install is very quick too. I cant think of any cons at all. Easy install, cheaper than hiring a pro, and they work.

Quality control is slacking
They definitely do work with termite control. My reason for 3 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ is about a third of them pop up without being eaten. It’s likely do to quality control! Years ago I never had them pop without being consumed by the termites.
