Cross-Connector (Purlin Bracket) for Greenhouse - Galvanized Steel (12 Pack w/Bolts) (1 3/8" x 1 3/8")

I built a small hoop house (12x12) and used these to connect the center pole. Although drilling holes through the hoops and center pole is cheaper it's also difficult and somewhat dangerous balancing up on a ladder at nearly 70. These were a strong, easy and safer choice. They worked well for my use. I like that they are galvanized steel to prevent rust and came with all necessary hardware. Once they were installed they created a strong hoop connection.

These are one of the cheaper options for connectors. They work good. Big issue is the galvanized dip is done improperly leading to many sharp defects at the top of the the bend. You will need to sand/file these down or it will degraded the plastic and even rip it when pulling the plastic. They should be dipped bolt end first into the galvanized that way the sharp defects are on the bolt end which doesn't come into contact with the plastic.

The galvanized dip is leaving burrs on metal strap. Seller needs to correct issue. Price should be less if you need to deburr each strap before use on greenhouse film. I contacted seller and they fixed the issue.

Couldn't be happier with how well these work. I have extremely strong winds out in the field where my hoop house is standing. Makes the frame really sturdy and strong. No issues at all.
