Needed this to make a decoration for my friend

I can not say enough good things about this shelf unit, suffice it to say that I fell in love with it. I had been looking at it on Amazon and had it on my Wish List for about three weeks. Each week I would go back and look at it not sure if I wanted to take the chance, you can just never tell when you are buying something online. I read all the reviews, the negative and the positive and finally I just said to heck with it and made the purchase. My husband was not happy with me at first when he heard that I had ordered it because we were in the process of re-doing our bedroom and have been going to great lengths to make sure that everything we got for it would look good. We had started with the bed, nightstands, dresser and chest of drawers of course and then started to work on the actual decorating part.We had waited so long to do our bedroom - we have been together for 13 years and married for 7, but we had my son to get through college and then my daughter got married and had my granddaughter. Things kept coming up that finally we decided that we would do it in parts. So our budget is limited to say the least. Our bedroom furniture is in a deep cherry colored oak so it already gives the room what I like to call a "rich look".I wanted to find something that would accent the furniture but not make the room look too crowded or be too bulky. This shelf is perfect! It blends in with the furniture and I was able to move the "nick nacks" that I had originally placed on our nightstands so my husband doesn't whine that he is forced to have potpourri on 'his' nightstand! It really gives it a classy looks and goes so well with the room!It was very easy to put together, it literally took my husband 25 minutes. I did have to use some Gorilla Glue on the pegs that fit over the screws because they kept falling out but that was more of a preference thing. It only took two screws to hold it in place on the wall and then you are done!I would say that I would buy another for the other side of the room but I don't want to take away from the original-ness of it!I would recommend this shelf unit to anyone that has dark colored furniture because it really makes the room look nice and there are countless uses for each of the shelves. I have seen where people commented that it was not very large and didn't really hold much. I would like to point out that this is really just for a show piece and I wouldn't recommend actually using it to store stuff on. It does hold small picture frames and/or small nick nacks.Overall, I could not be more pleased with my purchase and would do it again in a second!

I live in a small apartment, and to help maximize my available space, I like to have shelves that hang on the wall or stand vertically. I bought this as as a shelf to hold a modem and router, and small odds and ends. The shelf itself is made from very sturdy press-board covered with stained paneling - I bought the dark "mahogany" looking shelf, and it matches really well with a dark leather couch next to it.The shelf was pretty easy to put together with included hardware, but it's best to have two people work simultaneously, because supporting the structure as it's being built is difficult with one person. One downside to the shelf is that the two anchoring screws, on the top and bottom panels, were too small for the pre-drilled holes in the panels. As a result, the screws don't hold the shelf flush against the wall - and you can't screw them all the way in, or the shelf isn't being held up by anything. Two washers under the heads of the screws fixed that, but it was a hassle. I still wouldn't put really heavy books on this shelf, but it's fine for smaller things. Because I needed to support a modem and router, I drilled a hole into the bottom shelf to run cables. It works well for this purpose.The only large problem with the shelf was the product packaging (not the Amazon packaging). It's protected by styrofoam panels in the box, but they're made of the crappiest styrofoam I have ever seen. As soon as you start removing panels, flakes and chunks of styrofoam crack off and get everywhere. I recommend putting the shelf together in a garage, or be prepared to vacuum afterwards.

Three Pros and Cons for this unit: Cons first.Cons:(1)The only problem I had with this set of shelving was the cr@ppy dry-wall anchors provided with the set. I would highly recommend NOT using the provided dry wall anchors and buy your own anchors from a department store. The little plastic caps that are provided for aesthetics (to cover the provided metal hex-head screws) likely won't fit your newly purchased hardware, but some touch up paint easily takes care of that.(2)The shelving pieces provided are particle board. The corner shelf mounts in two places, one mount at the top most piece of particle board and one mount at the bottom most piece, the shelf units in between the two mounts do not hold perfect to the wall, so some additional work is required for a professional look. Additional mounts could be added later to get a wall-flush fit for all levels of the shelf obviously, but at some level of additional effort.(3) The foam packaging which the corner shelf units arrived in created lots of annoying styrofoam dustPros:(1)Pictorial instructions are very easily followed for assembly. Easily assembled and installed in an hour. (remember to buy BETTER dry wall anchors from your local department store!!!)(2) Packaging adequately protected the order. No damage on arrival.(3) Just saying "Price" is a bit of a cop out for a Pros vs. Cons comment, but once installed, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Isn't as easy as it looked mine disn't want to stay where is was supposed to, so unfortunately mines in a heap in my basement and I'm trying to see what I ca salvage out of it, I loved the design but it was flimsy and didn't hold up the way I needed it to.

I ordered 2 of the Danya B Large Corner Wall Mount Shelf-Black Laminate for the living room and they arrived promptly. The parts were easy to assemble and fit to the wall - although admit I watched rather than did the actual work! As another reviewer mentioned, the little black screw covers do not fit, but having read the review, we were prepared and a little glue on each was all it took to keep them in place but 4 stars for this as they should sort out the covers so they fit without glue. The gap between each shelf is around 7 - 7 1/2 inches high so not suitable for tall ornaments, but great for small to medium items, looks great on the wall and had lots of complements about them!

Exactly what I expected was very easy to install love it

I love this unusual corner shelf unit. It is quite tall with plenty of height between the shelves. It has 2 holes, one each in the middle of the top and bottom single pieces of wood to attach it to the walls. It came flat packed with more than enough hardware pieces and excellent instructions-easy to assemble and took about 20 minutes. I didn't like the bareness at the top so purchased the pair of "white bathroom corner cabinets" on Amazon from a different seller. I attached the 2nd cabinet at the same level in the adjacent corner. It looks spectacular! Great quality and a perfect look. I would highly recommend this item.

A really nice neat corner shelf. Came well packaged and required assembly which was very easy. The covers for the screws could be of better quality, but with a little effort and patience we managed to fix them.Note that the shelfs are not very big, so please check the dimensions and make sure it is suitable for your needs.We liked it so much that we will be ordering another one :)
