Enjoyed this comic so much, bought the second one straight after finishing this one, loved both films, thought I’d give the comic a go, I was not disappointed.

Just really short
I love the John wick movies and I hoped for an expansion of that in the comics, but it’s just to short and with no context I just couldn’t understand what was going on.

I thought i was buying a graphic novel instead of a 1 issue comic book. So my expectations were not met. Not the fault of the comic book, but buyer beware. For what it was, it was a good story, and very well drawn.
I had just finished watching both the first and second John Wick movies, and thought it might have been based on a graphic novel. It certainly had that graphic novel vibe to it. So I guess it was with that expectation that I bought this comic, thinking it might be an origin graphic novel. It wasn't, but it is an origin story, or the first part of one, and for what it was it was entertaining and well-drawn. If you're looking for John Wick comic instead of a John Wick graphic novel, you will not be disappointed.
