Yes, it is. It uses the Flamethrower ignition module, but is is in a casing that is a duplicate of the original Delco distributor.

can i run my elec tack with this dist.

Yes you can, it is the exact same hook up at the coil. it will not be an issue and the distributor is fantastic. I have used Pertronix ignitions for 35 years and this is a quality unit at a great price. use a good quality coil with it for optimum performance. Good Luck!

YES, stock caps and rotors do work with this unit, I have been running one like that for 3,000 miles. And NO, you can not run points in this distributor, the cam points are not high enough to operate the rubbing block lever on the points, to open and close the contacts. Yes I tried.
