We just opened the game boy color and we can’t hear the games. Anyone have an idea of how to fix the volume?

They use two AA batteries. This is not a device that you put to charge.

It runs off of two AA batteries. These models were made long before chargeable packs became standard. I suggest using rechargeable AAs if you're looking to be cost effective.
