I specifically searched for a different style of mouse to combat tendonitis developing in my index finger due to excessive daily mouse clicking on my job. I bought this and the Zero Tension mouse, this one has been much easier on my pain and less aggravating of the symptoms. And it feels much more comfortable so I took this one to work and brought the other back home. I even started using it with my left hand until I can give my right more rest and time to heal with rest, ice and anti-inflammatories. It is very comfortable to the hand and fingers. And although I agree w/another rater, sometimes it doesn't seem to click as it should (i found out there is a blind spot/area where it just doesn't catch -it all about finger position) nevertheless, for now and my needs, this is the best mouse ever! It did take some desk/keyboard respositioning as well and a little getting used to. but way less of than what I went through with the zero tension which is kind of awkward on the wrist if you don't have long fingers. I like them both and maybe if my finger wasn't so inflammed, the Zero Tension would be better, but for now and for my situation this one is the best!

The vertical hand position coupled with the low force clickable buttons makes this mouse a joy to use
This mouse provided instant relief of wrist pain. I use a computer at work and I confess to being a computer junkie at home. The vertical hand position coupled with the low force clickable buttons makes this mouse a joy to use. The cursor flies across the screen so you don't need to move the mouse around much to reach different areas. This is important if you use large screens. I can't say enough good things about this mouse. Hope it lasts!

Yes a good mouse can be better
This mouse feels great on the hand. Very smooth and easy to navigate. Can Program it whatever you need. Thumb buttons are a bit awkward and the packaging is not worth the cost of the mouse. Thats why the 4 stars. Overall a great mouse so far.

This mouse has been great. I recently hurt my wrist from over working and have to say this mouse really was a great find. One of my most favorite features was the fact it ha a break function in the software that will tell me when I should get off my computer and stretch. I would recomended this product to any one seeking a ergo life stile your health should come first.

If your going to do one best to do them all
I am a Realtor so I am on my computer a lot. I had a computer engineer come look at my computer and he said I needed to get an ergonomic keyboard, stand up mouse and put my lap top up on a stand at eye level. I went on Amazon that day and ordered all his suggestions. Made a huge difference with my wrist fatigue and I don't get headaches from looking down at my laptop (due to the stand). If your going to do one best to do them all. When folks come into my office they always comment on the mouse as many have not seen one ever. They all love it.

There's definitely an adjustment period, but if you're looking for an *ergonomic* solution to wrist issues, this thing's worth consideration. I find it really intuitive for left/right movements, but forward/back (up/down) feel less coordinated to me, I think just because I don't have muscle memory with my wrist in this position yet. Trying to digitally sign my name for example is MUCH easier with a traditional mouse, but at worst the vertical mouse is 'a bit less coordinated' and at best it's a massive panacea for RSI sufferers, so I'll take it. :) The mouse itself is nicely built, though I'd have liked it to be heavier I think...it feels a bit more plastic-y than I thought it would, but still reliable.
