Ended up ordering a good used one on ebay **Q: My 1996 seadoo gti is a dess system ,and you are saying this will work and make my ski a non dess ski? my mpen is a 278-000-822** A: this is the correct mpem for that part number. This does not require a programed key, any key will work with the dess system **Q: Will this work on a 1997 sea doo xp? not sure if it has the same wiring as a 1996 model.** A: The colors should match yours. Mine match colour to colour. And it worked it was nice. But agian not sure you have to open yours and. And should match this.
