Well...... the REAL dimensions are: 17.5" outer diameter - 12.25" inner diameter - 2.25" overall height. There is a chance of the diverter slipping off the inner support. Yes, I could put the grill grate in first, but then my option of adding more fuel/ smoking wood easily gets reduced, at least for the large BGE. I don't mind the smaller inner diameter, but the outer should be 18 1/2" to 18 5/8" for a better fit in the 18 3/4" large BGE. It might be different in other manufacturer's models. Silly me for relying on the advertised dimensions, (even though the BGE website doesn't EVEN GIVE the dimensions!) It is 5/8" thick, which isn't bad....ahh, I'll give it one more star. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement excellent quality for BGE *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2020* Just as good or better than original BGE part.
