It has been about 12 years now, if my memory is correct. I just bought my first Blu Ray Burner. I got an LG WH16NS40 Super Multi Blue Internal SATA 16x Blu-ray Disc writer. I paid a whopping $62.00 and some change. It came with nothing. No cables, screws, instructions, no anything. It is an OEM drive that was brand new. I have always bought DVD drives the same way. Most people have a hole in their system, that they will stick these into anyway, you don't need to pay for those hardware pieces, and you can always get your manual on the net. But I digress. I have burned over I guess, 10000 DVDs, and I have always had a nice self built computer. I know what the heck I am doing. I was extremely pleased to have burned all 10 with absolutely no problem. My computer is my last Core I7, before I switch to, and build a Core I9 computer sometime very soon. It helps to have something that can handle burning, encoding, and re encoding discs for copying protected BDs. I have never been one to use the high end discs, because I just don't have to. I have 32 gigs of RAM, and that is just plenty. The bottom line is these discs are, in my opinion, great. I have ordered another 3 cake boxes of ten, and I am looking forward to getting them. The printing surface is very smooth. Almost like glass, and your images will love that fact. I have no intention of getting some high price discs like Verbatim. Take it from me, these work great, and won't bust your budget.
