Douglas Shasta Gray Squirrel Plush Stuffed Animal

This is the perfect size for one hand. Soft and funny. If you have a friend who digs squirrels or just accidently killed one with their car and is mortified, this little fella will fit the bill.

This is a cute little squirrel with a big fluffy tail. It is not lifelike or realistic looking, but it is very soft to the touch and cuddly. In the photo on Amazon this squirrel has a sweet expression on its face. The one I received does not look like the photo. My squirrel has a frightened look, as if some large animal is going to eat him. I think my stuffed animal got a little squished during shipment. I am going to give this to someone as a birthday present, because it is nicer than just giving a birthday card. When I first took this squirrel out of the package my cat started to meow loudly because he thought it was for him. This squirrel might make a nice dog toy, but I think it is too large for a cat. ***UPDATE*** The person I gave this to loved it!

Bought it for my cat who kept trying to get one off a shelf. Naturally, as soon as I bought an identical copy the cat lost interest and never touched it. It's cute though, especially paired with the black squirrel.

I actually purchased this squirrel for myself. I decorated a tall narrow Christmas tree with lots of silver and white, frosted and glittery ornaments, and the theme was outdoors. Icicles, snowflakes, white birds, etc. We have lots of squirrels in our area, and my husband said the only thing missing was a white squirrel. It arrived quickly and is perfect for my themed tree. It is pretty true to life color if you have ever seen a gray squirrel. The size is perfect, and if you ordered this for a child it is a good handheld size for a toddler. The tail is tacked to the back to keep it in upright position.

I got it for an Unbeatable Squirrel Girl costume to be my Tippy-Toe. Came quick, very cute, very soft!

I love this little guy. Anyone who follows my reviews probably notices a trend that I am a squirrel lover. I photograph squirrels, I paint miniatures of squirrels, I feed squirrels in the wild, and I have squirrel stuff all over the house. Including plush animals that are cute, and cause me to smile every time I look at them. This little guy sits on my desk between the keyboard and monitor with two other plush squirrels.

I was hoping to use it as a decoy to keep away a bird feeder robbing squirrel. It didn't faze him one bit, but our kitten likes it.

This little creature is very cute and cuddly. Her fluffy tail is wonderful. If you are looking for a small plush squirrel, Shasta's your squirrel girl. We have a lot of squirrels that come around our upstairs deck, and the (indoor) cats are fascinated by them. So are we, and we make up stories about them. I got this little one because of that. She would also be a nice gift for a child, or anyone who likes cute and cuddly toys.
