So I thought the Large size would work best, but that is not so, because the velcro on the Large size stops at a certain point [If I try to tighten the elbow/knee pads where I want them tightened there is no velcro in that location [Perhaps they did not include more velcro because velcro is expensive]. I don't want to send them back, standing in line at the post office; The knee/elbow pads seem to stay on even though the velcro isn't strapped down as tight as they should be; One knee pad seemed to slide down a bit when rollerblading; So I pull it up if it does that. And it turns out I fell. I fell pretty hard. It was so unexpected. I fell on my wrist elbow and knee. I think for sure it saved me from breaking at least one of those things if not all. I walked away with quite a few cuts and scrapes and deep bruises. Instead of a trip to the hospital. I am 5'11" 240lbs and 29 years old. I got the XL version. It all fit pretty good. Some of the straps were almost too big for me.
