If you want to roll and cut out shapes, try polymer clay. **Q: Can I use this to make plant pots?** A: I don't see why you couldn't. I would seal the inside just in case though, so the water doesn't wear it away. **Q: can it be sanded? And when hard, can it be sealed with epoxy resin for outdoors?** A: Done some light sanding on it with no issues and I have applied layers of resin with no problem. **Q: What is the approx volume of mixed material per bag?** A: It mixes in a ratio of 1.5 parts permastone to 1 part water. If you use a 48 oz bag you would need 32 oz of water to use up a full bag. Its a bit pricey for me as im making wholesale casts, but it's awesome for crafting. Good quality... but follow directions closely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jesmonite alternative *by C***B on April 7, 2022* This works great! I was trying to find a Jesmonite alternative, and this works well. Mixes with water to form a pancake batter consistency (no need to measure parts) and cures pretty quickly. I demold after about 2hr. Cures to a nice very light beige and is pretty easy to pigment. I’ve used acrylic paint and gotten nice pastel colors. Mica powder was pretty faint.
