Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case with High Airflow, Supporting up to Six 120mm Fans and USB 3.0

First of all....this case is huge!! I have an Antec 1200 v3 that i run now, and this thing is bigger than that. If you have the room and budget, this full size chassis has optimal airflow. I really like the two hotswappable bays in the front right above the fan, really nice feature built into this case. Plenty of room inside for any SLI/Crossfire configuration you'll ever need. I run dual XFX Radeon HD 6970 in Crossfire and still have plenty of room. The side mount hdd bays are great and it saves room inside the case. Wish it came with the optional fans, but eh, for the price i picked this up at an extra $15 bucks for the extra fans isnt a big deal. 9 expansion slots is more than enough to play with. GPU bracket inside to hold heavier graphics cards is a very cool feature along with the internal GPU duct to keep the air flowing to your cards to keep them cool. Another nice feature built in. This case is massive....has plenty of room inside for anything you can stuff into it. Highly recommend this case if you want to step up into the full sized chassis game. Pull the trigger and make it happen.!! I usually purchase a majority of my stuff from the egg, but i caught this case for $30 less on Amazon.com and i am happy. One thing to note on this case....the HDD's mount in backwards and you connect them thru the back panel side not the clear window side. They mount in the quick release bays backwards. Make sure you have a mobo with plenty of sata connections, this case has extra connections you will need to use. with the ability to run 5 HDDs, 2 Hotswappable drives and 5 Optical drives, you'd better bring a board that can support at least half of it. All in all, i love it. great cable management, very quiet...even with the extra 2 optional fans installed, it's big, big, big. Plenty of room for big gpu's and lots of room to expand in the future.

First I have been building computers for over 15 years now and have had quite a few cases so I'm very knowledgeable about them. I had a Rosewill case before this one that I really liked as well but my current build has outgrown it necessitating a new case. Pros: Build quality: On this case it is very good for the price. It is solid metal throughout which I like. I also like that the side panels are flexible. Less pressure on my cables. I like that the motherboard panel has a cutout making access to the back of the cpu bracket easier. Build Flexibility: It is very flexible and you have many options. It fits ATX and Mini ATX. I use a mini ATX It has a 2 slot 2.5 inch SSD cage that is removable if you don't want it. It has a 3.5 inch HD cage in the middle that is removable to give your video cards more space if you have big ones. I needed this having 2 large cards and I love the extra space. Also saves weight too. The top 5.25 bay has a quick lock install to make installing optical drives easier. I confess I couldn't figure it out though but I used a couple screws instead. No big deal. Cooling: Great cooling options and they made a big difference for me. My last case had 1 120mm fan in front, 1 120mm fan in back and a 140mm one at the top for venting. This case can do that and more. The front panel is easily removable so you can put in multiple 120mm fans or a 200mm fan whichever is your preference. I put in 2 high quality 120mm fans in front. One is right in front of my video cards so they get more air that way. The top of the case supports the same configuration as the front. I chose a 200mm fan for that one for extra heat flow out the top. There is also a space on the side for a 120mm or 140mm fan. I put in a 120mm fan. It is positioned directly above the video cards as well for even more airflow. The rear has a 120mm fan as well. The extra space allows air to flow better around components which I'm very happy with and needed badly. Cons: Weight. It is over 17lbs. My last case was 12.5. However I did remove the one HD case and the 2.5 SSD case so I reduced it about 2 pounds. I didn't take a star away as I was not disappointed with the weight. Not totally tool less. It didn't have thumb screws for the video cards or the back panel of the case. Again I didn't dock a star as I used thumb screws from my previous case to make up the difference and it isn't that big a deal to me. Also a minor pick is that is doesn't have a speaker but again I have spares so not a big deal. I am very happy with this case especially for the price I paid for it. I got exactly what I wanted and I can rest easy knowing my setup won't get too hot now. Whether a first time builder or a professional you can't go wrong with this mid tower case. The cons above are easily remedied with a trip to your hardware or pc parts store. Hope this helps you.

When choosing a case it is important to make sure it is something that you like and that will fit your needs. Cases are one of the few, if not the only component from a PC rig that will last you through multiple builds. With that in mind, I took a long time researching and browsing around before I decided on a case for my computer build. The HAF 912 was consistently mentioned across the web by PC enthusiasts and amateurs as a strong case choice for both form and function. Cooler Master named the HAF series to stand for "High Air Flow" and these cases truly shine in that area. I am running an AMD 955 black edition processor overclocked to 4.0gHz and also a Radeon 6950 1gb video card and the case stays between 27-40 degrees celsius on the stock fans (depending on if I am just browsing the web or utilizing more CPU power). I thought I would need to purchase a bunch of extra case fans in order to keep my system temperatures down, but such is not the case. The huge vent in the top of the case can accommodate up to a 200mm case fan, but for now it works very well as just an exhaust vent. Most of the hot air exits through this area. The 912 also takes a minimalist approach in terms of design and does not include a giant window or bright LED lights like some other cases boast. For myself this was perfectly fine, but if you are looking for a case that has all of these extra features then this is not the right choice for you. I didn't need a flashy case and instead I wanted my money to be spent on build quality and necessary features. Here are some of the key reasons I would recommend this case to a prospective builder: Airflow- Superb, even with only the stock fans (discussed above). Capacity/Size- There is plenty of room inside this case. It supports the larger ATX motherboards as well as the micro-ATX motherboards. Longer video cards can be accommodated by easily removing the extra drive bay(s). Cable management- The HAF 912 has great cable management for a mid-tower case. If you don't know what cable management is or why it is important, it basically means how well the case tucks away the giant spiderweb of wires so that it does not clutter the inside of your system. The HAF 912 has room behind the right side panel for excess wires to be stored. I have a non-modular power supply which literally has about 10 extra cables that I did not use for my build and that I needed to hide somewhere. This case was able to conceal them behind the motherboard, no problem. This is essential because without proper cable management the wires will actually clutter and block the overall airflow throughout the case and lead to higher temperatures. Tool-less drive bay installation- Installing the CD/DVD drive is literally a snap and takes no more than 10 seconds to do. It only comes with one (1) tool-less drive bay, but that's all most people will need. Price- The case will only set you back about $50-60 depending on if it's on sale. While you aren't going to have all the bells and whistles that some cases have you are getting features in this case that are not seen until you move up into the $70-90 bracket. The HAF 912 is truly a great mid-tower case that will not disappoint. I highly recommend this case to both new and avid PC builders alike.

Pros: -Case has excellent airflow -Added 2 200mm fans with ease -plenty of room for anything you would need -you can remove the extra drive bays or rearrange them as needed -cable management is done well and easy to keep cables out of site and out of airflow -Case looks cool. Cons: -The vibration dampeners are cheap and broke off,(not a big deal, fixed with a little glue. didn't take off a star for this) -Support! The case is suppose to included extra screws and spaces to mount 200mm fans in the front. The front plate is threaded so you can't use the plastic screws that come with a lot of fans. I contacted support via online chat and was told repeatedly that they are in the accessory kit, I responded with "I know they are supposed to be there, but they aren't" It took me about 5 times of telling them this for him to tell me to do a part request. Now I have to wait about 2 weeks to get these. I used different screws and rigged it so it would work. Just a pain and support wasn't helpful. Final Thoughts: Good budget case with room for anything you will need. Excellent cooling, especially with adding the 200mm fans. As long as you don't have to deal with support, I would highly recommend this case. Build: Intel i5-3570k Hyper 212 Evo G.Skill Ares 16GB Asrock Extreme4 Z77 Sapphire 7850 oc Cooler Master Megaflow 200mm x2 OCZ ZT series 750w Update: Support took about 2 months to actually get me the correct parts that were missing and they were never friendly. They sent three different sets, would of been a lot easier for them to just check for the correct part instead of just sending the same box that came with the case. My best guess is that the case no longer comes with the longer screws and spacers, so they should probably take these off parts list. Case is still great though, added SSD with ease and no issues with cable management. Didn't lower stars anymore due to the terrible support because I do really recommend this case.

I will try to keep this pretty short. First my build: HAF X Asus P6X58D Premium motherboard Intel Core I7 960 @ 3.2Ghz 6Gb Corsair memory Coolermaster V8 CPU fan 2x EVGA GTX 275 in SLI EVGA GT 220 for physics 2x 30Gb SSD drive (in RAID 1) for OS 60Gb SSD drive for games 2x 200Gb HD (in RAID 1) for data Apevia 900W power supply DVD drive I originally had all of this (except the 60Gb SSD drive which I added for this build) in an Antec 900 case. It was jammed in there about as tightly as was possible. The Antec 900 is a nice case, but I really needed a full tower for the components that I have... so it didn't suit my needs. I just finished putting everything in my new HAF X and it's wonderful. I had plenty of room to work and the construction of the case is top-notch. I was actually able to manage all of my cables nicely, for a clean looking build. This is HUGE case, so if you don't have room you should think twice... but if you do, it's a gerat case. It comes stock with 4 fans, which is just fine... but I added one to the graphics card air duct, and one to the top (comes with one 200mm fan on top, I added the optional 200mm). The cable management is very well thought out, with routes throughout that you can use to tuck away all those cables. I used the power supply partition and it was very helpful in hiding my cables. I also used the GPU holder since I am using two pretty heavy video cards. These little extras really make the case worth the money, and help you to build a better system. There's plenty of room for your hard disks. I have 3 inside (2 normal HDs and one SSD), and two in the front SATA docks (both SSDs). There's plenty of room for just about any storage configuration you would want to use, and it's all easy to get to and set up. You do have to screw in the drives that you mount on the front SATA docks... but that's not really a big deal to me. Once I got it all together... I was very pleased. The airflow is great... my CPU is idling at about 32 degress Celsius, my hard drives at 24 degrees, memory at 29 degrees, physics card at 27 degrees and video cards at 24 degrees. I haven't done too much stress testing, but my CPU has only hit about 41 degrees celsius max so far. I love that this case is black both outside AND inside. A lot of black cases will have a stainlees steel color on the inside, but this is black throughout, which I find very nice. A lot of people complain that this case is "ugly", but I disagree... I think it's a great looking case. Overall, I love this case. It's the best I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. In my opinion you can't get a much better case for the price... and if you have a high-end set of components you should definitely consider the HAF X.

I read the reviews that said that this thing was gigantic and I thought "fantastic, I want something big" They were right and it's wonderful. Pros 1. It's huge. It fits my GTX 660 Ti with plenty of space left over (plenty of space = about an inch) and I didn't have to move the drive bays. 2. The construction is solid. No wobbling or cheap feeling parts. This thing looks and feels like a tank. I'll also tack on that it looks very sharp. 3. No-tools design functioned very well. My DVD drive and HDD mounted without nary a screw turn from me. I put screws in the DVD drive anyway (decreases vibration which decreases sound and increases life of the DVD drive) but it's nice how easy that was. 4. Interesting SSD bay placement is actually really handy. Since SSDs generate like no heat (and therefore do not need all that much ventilation to stay cool) I used the extra space in the drive bay to route my cables to help improve cable management. 5. The cable management on this thing is hands down the best in this price range. It's so huge that there are plenty of cases to route cables and plenty of space behind the motherboard. 6. The little platform on top to lay things is a useful feature. I liked it. Cons 1. Did not come with additional fan screws. This was irritating because I had additional fans and no screws. I eventually got some from a friend but it would've been nice to have a few extras in the bag. 2. The front fan cable isn't long enough to stretch to the motherboard which means you have to plug it into the power supply. You either have to buy an extender or deal with the front fan being on full blast constantly. An extender is cheap but Cooler Master really ought to go into this thinking "I bet the consumer wants fan control on all 3 fans so we better make sure they connect to the mobo" Small issues aside, this case is amazing. It's gigantic, spacious, and airy. I put a 120mm fan on the top to help vent the CPU and I can feel the coolness radiating off of this. My CPU and GPU idle at 30C on stock air coolers and I've no doubt that part of that is because of how airy the case is. It's easy to install things (like the DVD drive), it's cheap, it's huge and airy (a tad heavy though), and it looks beastly. I can't rave enough about the case and I would recommend it to anyone who wants something huge and cheap. Note: I also put an LED fan with a green light in the front. Looks awesome.

Despite being the entry level case in the HAF series, the 912 doesn't pull punches at it's low price point. The case is of a high build quality with above average construction utilizing SECC steel and ABS plastic. While it's front ports don't include USB3 or eSATA you get the requisite USB2 ports, mic and headphone jacks. It would have been nice to see at least eSATA given at the time of the 912's release this is a very simple port to install. The 912 is a very large case, easily accommodating my full size ATX motherboard and EVGA Superclocked 560TI graphics card without having to remove drive bays. If you have a high end and longer Radeon card, you may have to remove one bay to make it fit. Cable management is a joy with many cutouts and a wide back panel for routing all of your cables. Given the entry level status of this case, these holes are not grommeted and could be a problem if your power supply cables are not fully sleeved (water cooling tube cutouts are grommeted). With five possible fan mounts (six if you use two smaller fans in the top) it lives up the the high air flow name Cooler Master has assigned. Even with only the two included fans my temperatures stay very low with an overclocked Core i5 and my graphics card. This however does come with a price as it creates a fairly noisy case. While not a problem for me, if you like a quiet PC you may wish to invest in some acoustic foam or a different quieter case. Cooler Master has included mesh screens over the bottom power supply fan intake and the front intakes to aid in dust prevention. These screens do a great job of filtering dust and are simple to clean. The non painted interior may be a turn off, but with no side window I personally don't see it as a problem. The drive mounting system is excellent for hard drives and one optical drive slot has a great system as well. The hard drive cages are aligned perpendicular to the access panel and mount using included rails that simplify drive installation to the point of taking about ten seconds to install a new one. The rails simply plug into your drives screw holes and the whole unit slides into the drive cage. The cages are perforated aiding in airflow (a common problem of side mounted drive cages). Beveled clips hold the drive securely and even during travel with the case I have never been concerned about the drives sliding out. The optical drives have two mounting systems. One is an excellent tooless bay with a latch system that holds your drive securely. The other is a traditional screw system. It would have been nice to see Cooler Master include the latch on all drive bays like their higher end HAF cases, but I guess it was a cost saving measure. If you have only one optical drive as I do, it is not such a big deal and won't detract from the cases value. Another small complaint is with the lack of thumb screws for the back panel of the case. The left side includes the thumb screws and at the price you can buy them for I don't see how this saved Cooler Master enough money to justify not including them. While there are a few small complaints, for a sixty dollar price point you get a lot of case with the HAF 912 and these issues are not worth knocking even a single star off the rating. Bumping up to even the 922 nets you more features at a still very competitive price. The HAF series as a whole are excellent case with few issues. Even lying on the bottom of the HAF stack, the 912 goes feature for feature with most every case at it's price point.

I got this case to replace by beat-up Antec 300, and I can say that it was certainly a solid investment, that case was nice but it holds no contest when paired next to this thing. The HAF 912 has: -Room, lots and lots of space, you will be able to put EVERY thing you want in here easier and the case is designed well enough where cable management is effortless -Some nice features (toolless drive bays, removable hard drive cage, plenty of fan options) that are normally found on cases that cost much more -It's solidly built, BUT much lighter than I had expected -It's Large without being too bulky or cumbersome -Airflow is much better than my previous case, as is sound (case fans are fairly quiet) -The design is very eye-catching and unique, but not overly gawdy or tacky, a trap many mid-tower cases fall in. I have to take my hat off to Cooler master for the aesthetic designs of their cases, I think they really are the top of the game when it comes to making unique designs Cons: As great as this case is, it is not without it's flaws: -It comes with only two 120mm fans, one on the front and one on the rear, for a case with so many fan options it's kind of disappointing to see so many empty fan slots right out of the box -Only one toolless external 5.25" bay -CM was pretty scant on the screws, whereas by Antec 300 came with THUMBSCREWS GALORE, the HAF 912 only came with a handful of nondescript screws, in addition to being short on screws for my ATX board, overall it wasn't a huge problem, just an annoyance. -The manual is almost all pictorial, if you know what you're doing you will have no problem, newbies may be disheartened by the brief instructions. -Not a huge fan of the HAF logo decal'd on the side, purely a matter of preference. Other Thoughts: All in all, I believe that this is the absolute monarch when it comes to bargain-mid tower cases, I am still in awe that this case only cost 50 bones. I keep looking at my invoice and then back to my HAF912 wondering "WHY WAS THIS SO LOW" This case offers incredible value but at the same time displays incredible craftsmanship that few companies besides CM can match, I highly recommend this case.

The perfect computer tower. You can put tons of fan to keep your cpu cool. The tower really come whit 2 USB port 1 x 3.0 and 1 x 2.0. The information is not good cuz its say 2 x 2.0 but the picture show 1 x 3.0 and 1 x 2.0.

I bought one of these last time, and again its flawless, the best computer tower I have ever owned. Solid, Lots of space and just like the one I bought 3 years back, its Stolid as a rock and stable.

Estuve revisando varias opciones a la hora de ensamblar mi PC gamer, y esta fue la mejor elección de acuerdo a la oferta disponible en Amazon. Lamentablemente el costo de importación deste Estados Unidos fue muy alto, pero valió la pena el esfuerzo. Fuera de ese pequeño inconveniente, el gabinete es sumamente robusto, elegante y completo. El diseño de los espacios está planeado para una adecuada ventilación que fluye desde la parte frontal hacia la parte superior y trasera de la torre, dando lugar además para colocar ventiladores adicionales en la parte superior, o un sistema de enfriamiento líquido. Es muy silencioso y viene además con algunos aditamentos internos para controlar mejor el flujo de aire, aunque suelen estorbar cuando se instalan tarjetas gráficas de gran tamaño (GTX 1060, 1080, etc).

Con un diseño agresivo, echo de metal delgado bastante resistente y ligero, con 2 ventiladores incluidos de coolermaster, ademas de tener la bahia para poner la gpu parada es maravilloso, incluye bastante espacio para disco duro ssd, la motherboard queda perfecta, el manejo de cables es muy bueno incluso trae colas de rata (sinchos) para juntar los cables y tener mejor estetica, tiene bahia para lector de discos y una para disquette o un controlador de ventiladores (fanhub) el frente es plastico pero se ve y se siente muy resistente, conectores de audio de alta calidad y los botones igual. Es de muy facil acceso con tornillos de dedo (thumb screws) en fin me encanta!
