If you’re even looking, JUST GET IT!
If you’ve been to Jamaica and had their famous national dish Ackee and salt fish, if you’re like me, you got back home and you were craving it. I splurged on the can. I think I got on sale for 14 but you’ll probably end up paying $20 for it. But it’s definitely worth it. It brings back your Jamaican trip. Google a favorite recipe like I did and make it just like they say.It’s really good. And don’t worry if you don’t have salt fish. You can use cod or some other ingredient like I used home caught bass. Crappie is also good. . And it’s really good. You can alter the seasonings to your taste. But I love the Ackee as it gives an almost like firm scrambled egg taste. It’s so good and this brand is awesome and not mushy.

There’s no Ackee in these cans! Just Mush!
If I could give these a zero star I would. I bought these previously and it was great. This time I purchased four cans because of the previous purchase! These were so mushy there was Zero Ackee in the can to cook. I uploaded pictures the moment I opened the cans and contacted customer service to return the remaining cans and get a refund! Only to be told this item is not eligible for return or refund! Never buying again! I’ll try other brands! May actually have Ackee in them!
