Goodness Apple uses small screws.Following a video this took 10 minutes. Hardest part is opening the phone, be careful and you’ll be fine.Get some paper and put a strip of double sided tape on it and use it to secure the screws. That way you’ll put them back in the right holes with losing them. The battery in my three year old iPhone 6S was needing charging pretty much every hour. I had been building up to taking it to a store to pay to have the battery replaced. However, COVID 19 obviously means I couldn’t. I really didn’t fancy messing with it. But, I’m really glad I did. This battery is ace! I installed it yesterday, followed the charging instructions and awoke this morning to find it still on 100%! As today had gone by, normal use has seen it retain its charge. I’ve given it to my children to try and flatten it, which they can do with all electronics very quickly! But not now! The reason I had a go myself was because I watched the excellent video on you tube first. It was very clear and gave me the confidence to do it myself. The fact that the right tools come with it, is a big help! Fitting? Right, it isn’t the kind of thing I would consider to be really easy. But, if you take the time to watch the video and then be VERY careful, it is actually quite straight forward.
