Mudriver Dixie Kennel Cover, Brown, X-Large

Got this for a trip out to South Dakota to chase some pheasants and it did exactly what it needed to. Kept the dog warm while we were running around. I've continued to keep it on the crate and use it for transporting the dog everywhere. The pockets are handy for stashing bumpers, food, leashes, poop bags, treats, whatever you can dream of. So far the zippers seem really sturdy and high quality so I think it should last for quite a few years. I did try to put this around a wire crate of the dimensions listed and it didn't quite fit since its made for a plastic shaped crate, so note that, but not a big deal. It does fit the plastic just slightly snugly, which is perfect.

these are great covers I got them for my Ruff Land kennels and they fit perfect plenty of pockets for storage and great venting with the way the sides and door rolls up. Sewn very well and will last a long time.

All mid river products are heat and fit correctly! Great product! Keep my lab warm and dry when traveling!

I was a little hesitant to pay this much for a dog kennel cover, but I'm glad I chose this brand. This is heavy duty, windproof and water proof and has handy pockets sewn in. The zippers are heavy duty and with care, I expect this to last the lifetime of my dog.

The large size muddy river cover fits the gunner intermediate kennel but it is very snug going on. But It works out because I’m able to zip and unzip one handed since it’s good and tight with no extra baggage . Only problem I see is the window on the cover doesn’t match the window on the kennel shown in my picture above. For half the price as a gunner brand cover and winter door I think it’s gonna work just fine.

This is a great kennel cover. Superb quality and craftsmanship. Nice layer of insulation. Tons of pockets open and zippered, it has roll up windows that are held with velcro straps to air out. It was tough to get on the kennel, so taking off and on may be an issue. There are open corners on the bottom so it doesn't hold water. However, definitely bring indoors every once in awhile to dry it out so it doesn't mold or rot. Do measure your kennel, not all kennels in a size group have the same measurements. I have two different models of large kennels, both different measurents. If I had to search for one complaint, it would be, I wish the bottom that sits on the ground, was waterproof. It is heavy cloth, but could soak up water if in rain or snow long enough, so take a tarp to set it on.

Follow-up: It took a lot of patience, but I managed to get the cover around the crate. The construction, materials and quality are outstanding!

Pretty impressed with this so far. Have not had much cold weather, but it has gotten pretty chilly here in North Dakota in late summer and early fall and it was more than adequate. I have only needed to zip it up with the windows in once and the next morning after sleeping outside in mid 40's weather the pup was on the verge of being overheated so it def keeps him warm. This fall for pheasant hunting it will be put to the test in some chilly windy days in the back of the truck. It is not water proof. I have tried scotch guard and it did not seem to help much, but I would imagine that has more to do with my application than anything else. Even though it is not waterproof though we drove through some steady rain for over an hour on a recent road trip and the pup was bone dry when we got there so cant complain about that. It is sturdy and well made, keeps the dog warm in the back of the truck, the cover makes the crate much easier to carry and much easier to strap down in the back. Overall get this cover if you are considering it. Also I love all the pockets. Dont need to pack a separate bag for the dog cuz I can fit food, dishes, leashes, toys, bags etc in the cover. Update: Fabric has faded quite a bit from sun exposure, but that does not bother me too much. Last winter I had no choice but to haul the pup in the back of the truck on a -7 degree day. I put 2 fleece throw blankets in the crate and sealed it shut with the windows and zipper. 2 hours of driving later and he was warm and happy. Very pleased.

Excellent product, used on a large kennel crate, good fit, easy to get on and very well made.

Very very well made. Dogs love it. Without any source of heat inside. We use it in the winter and had a digital thermometer in it. It keeps it about 10°C warmer inside than out. Went for a hike in the snow with the dogs. Wet and cold going in. Hour drive later and they were warm dry and happy pups! Also love all the pockets to hold leashes food water etc.

Very hard to put on but really nice cover! XL fits over XL ruffland

I'm quite happy with it so far. It fits well and I like all of the extra pockets that come on it.
