Normalweise haben mich die RSD-Veröffentlichungen der letzten Jahre nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Da ich die E&I Tour in Berlin besuchte und ich von New Year's Day in der neuen härteren Version schwer begeistert war musste die Scheibe dieses Jahr jedoch doch her. Und was soll ich sagen: Beeindruckend! Das Intro mit Chaplins Rede ist klasse umgesetzt und übrigens im Volltext bei der Platte dabei. Nun kann man es endlich mal völlständig lesen bzw. nochmal klar und deutlich anhören. Dann der Übergang zur genialen neuen, satten und hammerharten Version von New Year's Day, live in Dublin! Wirklich klasse und toller Sound. Laut aufdrehen auf einer super Anlage - Gänsehaut programmiert. Remixe finde ich normalerweise immer sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die beiden auf der B-Seite gehen irgendwie richtig rein. NYD hämmert fast noch mehr als die Live Version auf der anderen Seite und auch der zweite Remix ist irgendwie nicht schlecht gemacht. Ich betone noch einmal die tolle Soundqualität. Da wackelt der Wohnzimmerboden und alleine dafür hat sich der Preis schon gelohnt. Sammlerstück!
