Works great for what I need it for! Rice flour and powder sugar.

These are great for sprinkling flour, sugar, or cinnamon for baking. They're faster an more uniform than a flour wand. The cap seals very well and prevent messes.

I make a lot of bread so i keep flour in these for dusting. The caps are sometimes difficult to pop off but im satisfied overall. They work best when filled halfway.

I think these shakers are the perfect size for what I need them for. I bought them specifically for sprinkling a cocoa powder/cinnamon mixture on top of the tiramisu I made during the holidays. Since then, I have used the 2nd shaker with powdered sugar to put on top of baked pastries. In both cases, these shakers worked perfectly. Since they're not something I use all the time, they are the perfect size so that I don't have to leave a lot of product in the shakers. I'm not experiencing the problem with the plastic cap that some other customers are having. In fact, I really like that the plastic cap is a nice tight fit on the shaker and I don't have to worry about it popping off and spilling. I haven't had any problems with the mesh lid coming off when I take the plastic cap off either. I found if you don't screw the mesh lid all the way, yes, you can just pull it off with little effort (even without the plastic cap). But if you screw the mesh lid all the way, it's pretty tight and you can't pull it off. Overall, I'm very happy with these shakers and would recommend them.

I purchased this shaker to use with flour while kneading bread, making cookies, rolling out pie crusts etc... It could be used for dry ingredients like powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. It washed nicely, is well made. The plastic lid fits snugly to keep things fresh. I like that it is metal. The only thing I would count against it was that it is smaller than I thought it would be. Was thinking it would hold about a cup of flour and it holds about a half cup. Not a game changer...will just have to fill it more often. 5 stars

10oz is perfect size for crepes and dessert powderings. 1.) Watch the cross threading on the lids. They are not like a "heavy" thread, it's more like you could press down hard and avoid the threads entirely. Not like a mason jar or anything. As long as you watch how you thread it, perfectly fine and tight. 2.) Lids fit tightly, none were cracked or broken, and as long as you're threaded onto the canister properly, come off easily with an angled pivot of the lid. No problems. 3.) Sifts wonderfully well with powdered sugar and nesquik. IDK about the long term on these, but initially these are perfectly fine and work well.

I love these shakers! There’s cinnamon and sugar in there and there was no clumping or uneven sprinkling on the rolls. The twisted top stayed on while pulling off the plastic cover so there was no spillage. The container is small but holds 3/4 cup of product. I will get some more for different combinations.

I don’t like the lid. It does the job but the lid is annoying and you end up unscrewing the top.

Simple but effective

I bought these for my sourdough hobby. They work well with the rice flour I use to dust the cloth lined baskets and also really good for sprinkling icing sugar on baking and desserts. I used to use a tea strainer, this is definitely an improvement and I appreciate that they have a lid to prevent accidents when knocked over in the cupboard

As I was giving the shakers I received a wash before use, I noticed some loose strands of wire from the mesh on the lid that were hanging out a little. If left in place, I could see it dislodging and ending up in the food, which would not be wonderful to ingest. So just be careful when you receive the product that you inspect the lids closely and remove any leftover metal strands that might still be present from the manufacturing process.

These were amazing for sprinkled coffee with cinnamon. I even use it for Matcha to sift it. Could be used for icing sugar or cocoa. It’s good quality, and I love that it has a plastic cover. Makes it more hygienic. The fine mesh powders perfectly.
