I thought for what I paid it should be not so bad. That's about what it is. Works well, but not comfortable. Very little padding under my seat, plenty under my legs though I don't need it there as much, and quite a distance from front to back. I have to put a pillow behind me so my knees hit the front just right. So, if you're tall & don't need much padding, this is probably the chair for you! I've struggled with sciatica lately and had high hopes for this chair. It's sturdy but has not really been very helpful if I'm being honest. It is very comfortable, as it supports long hours of work and/or gaming sessions. I had to get a supplemental ergonomic cushion for lumbar support and the chair is a little rickety, though that is mainly in the arm rests. The base and back are solid and the mess backing is super comfortable. Nothing has fallen apart yet.Bottom line, if I were shopping for chairs again, I would probably make the same decision.
