Fit perfectly.
This saves us money and works well. It fit perfectly. Just make sure you turn the faucet on about halfway. If you only open it a little, it may look like itโs leaking because the water isnโt flowing into the hose. You might think itโs a waste of money, but itโs actually working as designed. If you watch a YouTube video for this particular product, it will show you how to install it correctly.

Frustrating for the average home owner
I know that these are required for "Code" in some locations. Our apartment in Chicago had one, and I never thought about it until the yard crew managed to damage it...leaked like a fire hydrant. So, I found the same device and it is now working. HOWEVER, I do not know why it doesn't include a hex surface to properly tighten it. It still leaked until I got a large pair of Channellock pliers on it...which, of course, marred the surface so I couldn't return it if it didn't work. Word of caution...the hose connection threads are extremely sharp, I almost sliced my finger open trying to turn it to tighten it. These devices are obviously for contractors and new construction. If I have to replace it again, there are simple "bib adaptors" that connect the fine threads at the spigot to the coarse threads of the hose. They are still expensive, but look simpler to deal with.

Make sure you're buying the right item.
This ONLY works for 1-1/16 inch inlet fine thread!!! If your inlet fine thread connector is 1-3/16 inches then you need to buy PK1360!!!

Soft metal
Well, I am certainly willing to accept some blame here, but if you buy this product do not use the hex head locking nut. As soon as it met the least amount of resistance the head snapped off. Cheap product quality, extremely soft metal. I get it, it need to soft as it may be seated against brass, when I tell you it snapped off at the smallest amount of resistance, I cannot understate that enough. I would just remove it. Now I have to get a punch set to remove.

Exactly what I needed
MY old anti-siphon device had accidentally been disassembled last fall and part thrown away, so replacing it for spring was necessary. Fortunately, the fitting came quickly and was easy to install. I have to admit that the price for a chunk of metal the size of a baby's fist seemed excessive, but Arrowhead's sneaky trick of putting a fine thread on the sillcock that won't accept a hose fitting means buying this is pretty much the only option for ordinary folks like me. Be aware of two things: first, the part number PK1390 is not what's printed on the old part (or, for that matter, the new one). Mine has 1019-A 486 BP printed on it, which seems pretty different from the part number. Second, you can't use this unless it sits at an angle when attached to the faucet -- it won't work correctly if either vertical or horizontal.
