We love this product! Great for getting slivers out. Use daily with wrap or bandaid and comes out in about a week or so. No pain!

My parents had this salve when I was a child, and I'm in my 70s now. It works as well now as it did then! A dab placed over the area a sliver entered your skin will draw the sliver out overnight.

I dunno what the heck is in this stuff, but Dear God, it works. Earlier this week, out of nowhere, I seem to have developed a boil in an uncomfortable place and it drove me absolutely nuts, like it would anyone else. I had trouble not only walking, but sitting, and sleeping too. If you haven't experienced them before, boils are absolute nightmares to deal with, so you have been forewarned. Since mine was driving me nuts, I had to find something to deal with the pain & infection. Since i'm into naturopathic products, I'm surprised I knew nothing about drawing salves. I did my research, and then came here to see what Amazon had. This was one that Amazon directly had in stock at the time I wanted to purchase. I wasn't gonna get this through a 3rd party vendor, given I was in desperate need of help right away. I bought this, some gauze pads, and medical tape, and I had to pray this would heal the painful boil I was dealing with. I washed the affected area, applied a bit of Quret on it, and then covered it up with gauze pads. Remarkably, not long after, I was able to walk around better than I had anytime earlier in the week. However, it didn't take before I felt the Quret really kick in, because I felt some remarkable stinging sensations where the boil was, and it felt as if something was happening. This happened quite often, so I trusted this stuff was doing it's job. Once I changed the dressing, I found out the hard way, this stuff really is a lifesaver. It definitely pulled out a lot, and made things much less painful, so I'm thrilled that the Quret Drawing Salve is as advertised. It will still take a little while before the boil is completely gone, and pain-free, but at least I know this stuff is working it's magic and doing it's job, so the more I continue to use it, the better I will get as time goes along. I'm very glad I purchased this and it is very much recommended, given that it works really efficiently. Thank you Amazon.com!

Cant beat the original!

I waited to write a review until I had a chance to use the product a few times. It works! I don't know how, or why, it just does. I ordered it when I had a splinter I couldn't quite get. I put this on a band aid in the afternoon and again before I went to sleep. In the morning, no more splinter. I then had an infected hangnail that was swollen and painful. Same band aid process and after a couple days it was better. Finally, my wife dropped a glass on the kitchen floor and it shattered. We thought we got all the glass cleaned up, but I ended up with a small piece in the bottom of my foot. When I woke up my foot has a small raised red sore spot. Same process and again after a couple days, better. I don't know what's in it (it smells a little funky but not too bad), but it has worked for me every time I've used it. Each application only takes a small amount to be effective. Just wanted to update after a few months of use. My grandson got a couple of immunizations and after a few days, one was a swollen, hard red lump. The doctor said it was fine, but it was obviously bothering him as he would touch it and say boo boo hurt. My daughter used some on a band aid over night and it was much better after one night, and completely better after 3 nights.

It really doesn't have a horrible smell, smells like camphor, and that can't be said about other products I tried, but it also didn't do anything to draw or shrink some stubborn cysts I've had for a month. I also tried Epsol, least smell of the bunch, with no detectable results. Same for Prid, which is rock hard and difficult to apply. Only ointment I found that's been somewhat effective is Perrigo Ichthammol 20% Ointment, which unfortunately smells like a septic tank on a hot summer day. The Ichthammol works by separating the top layer of skin like a very severe sunburn and that encourages draining.
