It couldn't even tell if the water I placed the probe in was wet! It registered as dry and stayed that way even when setting the switch to the proper setting. As far as PH goes.. It stayed at 7 when I knew the substrate I was usiing starts as a 4.5 as written on the bag and even using ph down in a glass of ph 7 water didn't even move the meter at all. Even stuck it in wet soil and nothing worked. Ph or Moisture meter. If you are growing anything of importance simply spend more and get a digital.
