It’s Hershey’s milk chocolate. Need I say more? Other than wishing the price would drop a tad, I don’t have any negatives for this item. Melts easily, tastes great, it’s the quality of Hershey’s milk chocolate. In a baked good? I’d be willing to bet you could use this brand and one that is more “high end” (like the one that sounds like it should be in the deli?) in separate batches and no one would notice the different chocolates. Amazon wants me to review the “Sugar content” lol. Hmmm. It’s high. Hard to make some things without using a rather large amount of sugar. They do make a sugar free version of their chocolate chips. But judging from the tons of bags of SF on my grocery store’s shelves and the empty spaces for this item? I’m going to say that this is the preferred version. If you need sugar free, try Russell Stover’s? They’re pricey but also magic. How do you make chocolate and caramel with no sugar, and make it so well that I’ve shocked people by telling them the caramel they just ate was sugar free. I’m just sorry that those who need or want sugar free items are seemingly financially punished. It’s frustrating. Enjoy!
