2004 Dodge Durango
I bought this set to upgrade the stock speakers in my 2004 Durango. At the same time i also upgraded the stock head unit to a "POWER ACOUSTIK PD-710B Single DIN Multimeadia Source with Detachable 7-Inch Oversize LCD Touchscreen including BlueTooth 2.0" I have a few sub boxes and amps laying around that I also wanted to hook up. The install was pretty easy if you have a basic knowledge of how to take a car door apart and wire speakers. The Sps-610c has a detached tweeter that must be mounted separately. the Sps-610 has an attached tweeter that you can "aim" or rotate. My Durango did not have a spot for tweeters so I used a dremmel and made holes in my front door panels and installed the tweeters there. The tweeter housing is 2 pieces and screws together very nicely covering any imperfection. Looks pro. I do not yet have an amp hooked to them. The new head unit I got pushes them great. The speakers scream with very clean clear highs....... and that's it. There is almost no bass what-so-ever. All 4 speakers have built in cross-overs (Bass blockers) This doesn't bother me as I plan to install subs very soon. Great speakers. Can't wait to hook them up to an amp with subs. will update

An Extremely Good Value in this Package
I used these speakers to replace the factory speakers in a 2012 Accord Coupe. My biggest concern was fitting in the factory locations. The 6.5" speakers required the Honda adapters (purchased separately) and fit perfectly in the doors and rear deck. The tweeters fit into the sail panel once the outer ring was removed and the circle in the sail panel split open to allow for expansion. I then glued the Alpine tweeters in place and used the foam disks to press them forward. The Alpine speakers are very well made. The magnet is large and the choke and capacitors used for crossovers are large and top quality. The rubber surround is designed for a large amount of excursion. I hooked these up to a new Pioneer GM-D8604 with 100 watts RMS that was hooked up to the factory head unit. One thing about purchasing car speakers these days that I do not like is that you can not go to a store that has them all set up and switch from one set to the next real time to determine what you like, except for Walmart that there was nothing there that I liked. One is left with reviews and writing about how speakers sound is like dancing about the flavor of apple pie..... difficult to convey from one human to the next. Anyway, I think they sound very good and are an upgrade over the sound of the factory speakers. When combined with the amp they can elevate the level of detail to hear aspects of the music that were missing before. They do not do bass very well and need a subwoofer. The treble, at least with my factory head unit, was a bit harsh. I found that turning the treble control on the Head Unit down-3 or -4 took this away while still leaving lots of detail in the vocals. After doing a lot of shopping on line I was thinking that I needed to spend $200 to get this level of speaker and was pleased to find this deal. They were the last item to arrive and the communication with the shipper was not at normal Amazon standards, but all worked out well in the end.

Great replacement speakers
10/18/2017 About three weeks of use with factory non-amplified stereo. I know I am not using these speakers to their capacity but they sound good. They have better bass response than the factory speakers and audio quality is good. I am happy with these speakers, as I have always been with Alpine products. I bought these on a recommendation from a friend. The kit comes with some mounting hardware, but the screws were too long for my application. I installed these in my 2008 Silverado 2500HD for about 3 weeks ago. I was easy on the volume for the first week, with all settings turned down to break the speakers in a little bit. I installed the tweeters in the factory location with slight modification to the factory speaker grille. I installed the speakers in the factory speaker bracket by just removing the speaker cone and trimming the ring down, then mounting these speakers in there. Plenty of videos on youtube for this.

Works great in Honda CR-Z
I got these as a replacement for the stock speakers/tweeter in my 2011 Honda CR-Z. They worked out great and sound great too on the completely stock system. These don't come with a crossover but it's not needed if you're sticking with the stock CR-Z system aside from the speakers. The tweeters make things sound really good compared to the stock ones. I made my tweeter install simple and just popped out the old ones and put these in their place. They don't fit 100% so I used brush on super glue and then shoved and held them in place for about 2 minutes. It worked perfectly and saved a lot of extra time cutting holes. I'm happy with the sound and how easy these were to install with the spectra and metra add-ons.

Awesome setup on a budget.
Put these in my 2012 Crew Cab Colorado. Component in the front doors, coaxials in the back doors. They sound amazing paired with the Clarion XC1410 I purchased to drive them. They have surprisingly good bass response for being 6.5's. It's not thundering low, but it's still pretty good, even without subs. I ran the high pass on my head unit just to see how they will sound when I install the subs, and they get extremely loud while retaining great clarity.

Components are excellent! However
Components are excellent! However, VERY disappointed in the coaxial speakers- they're not even in the same league as the components. They are a minor step up from my paper-cone factory speakers and in my opinion, aren't able to handle what they're rated for- they distort very easily.

Shark Vacuum Perfume Discs
I don’t find it has any scent it doesn’t neutralize the odor when the vacuum is on. Maybe mine are dried out they were in a sealed package they fit but don’t produce ant odor.
