The Complete Peanuts 1959-1962 Box Set

we get baby Sally now, so one of the main characters has arrived. The Mad Punter is one of my favorites, along with the icicle and the freeway for Snoopy to worry about. Another great collection. Poor Miss Othmar and the egg shells.... Freida appears as well, but she is so one note I just couldn't get into her as a character. Snoopy the Vulture is always great, as well as plenty of blanket action (the classic burying set). Sally goes to school and gets cheated out of Tricks or Treats!

I have always loved the Peanuts comics and cartoon specials and these books are such a wonderful addition for a collector. Sally makes her first appearance when Charlie Brown has to push her around in a stroller rather than play in the big game. Violet changes her hair for one strip and then it goes right back in the bun again. Lucy tries again and again to get Schroeder to notice her and fails. Basically the jokes are wonderful and everyone is secure in their character now except for Sally who is continuing to develop beyond just being a baby.

As I said in other collection reviews these are great for the series student of Peanuts but very expensive if you are a casual reader and some of the collection is currently out of print.

I have been a long time supporter of the Peanuts Gang books. The first books that i bought when i first jioned a book club back in the 60's were peanuts books. It is great to see the comic strips agian.

I have been ordering the books n this series each year as they come out. I am still thrilled that these are available. Now to the specifics of this order. Great price, delivered as promised and in new condition..

It had been quite hard to find this particular set, but they started printing it again, so a great opportunity to buy it at a regular price.

I have loved Peanuts for many years. I found this by mistake. After going to the sight that sells it, and realized it was a series collection. I couldn't resist. I now own the whole set. Its well done.
