So my storage life has now become about clear storage anything. I bought these for my kids to store their toys in. You see, we don't have a dedicated play room, rather, my kids prefer to play with their toys all over the house. It was becoming a critical situation as, if anyone is unaware, kids are thoughtless slobs and don't really care where their toys are left.The idea was plastic buckets. These fit the bill perfectly. They can carry them all over the house, and play with their toys anywhere. And when they're done, they can clean up and put the toys back in the bucket and take it on their way. There's rarely any looking for anything. They can see what's in every bucket.Other than that, it's a bucket. For you to put stuff in. I use these to mix custom color plastisol inks. I needed clear buckets, so you could easily identify the ink color when they are sitting on the shelves.If you are using these to mix, I do not recommend. Well it isn't, and there's a casting flaw on the rim, right above the pull tab. It's about .004" deep and about 3/4" long, and you can feel it with your finger. It's a flaw in the form used to cast the plastic. Otherwise if you don't need a liquid-tight bucket, it's nice. Very clear so you can see what's inside and pretty strong, with reinforced areas for the handle. I need mine air and liquid tight, so unless you use vaseline at the defect, or tape, it'll let air/water escape.
