Black Lagoon: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

This is a very good anime and I encourage you to watch this if you haven’t already! I’m very glad to be able to own the full series on blu-ray!

If you like enriching yourself with great anime don’t mind the action in it …welcome to Black Lagoon, I admire the character development the story why &how things are …you won’t regret buying complete series …details, styles of each individual of this anime is amazing!! If they made this into a live action movie I would be blown away…just don’t be surprised if you won’t sale or let someone else barrow the movie because you value it 👍🏽

Top tier anime at a great price!

The idea of Black Lagoon is great. I had high hopes and honestly I wanted to like it more than I did and I expected it to be in my top 5 but it didn’t even make it in my top 10. Not saying it’s bad or that it’s not good it’s just not great. They did a great job with characters, they are all very well done and Revy is one of my favorite characters. It’s odd because I’m not a big fan of bad language and in real life I would hate her but she’s just an awesome character and very likeable. But one thing I didn’t particularly like was the amount of bad language it’s basically non stop F bombs. That being said don’t think that is the reason I didn’t like it, I wasn’t a fan of the language but I didn’t let that come into play when judging it. But it does make me wonder why is it necessary to have such strong consistent language. Some say because it adds to the realism of the characters and atmosphere which I won’t argue with but if you are worried about realism they should have been more realistic with the gun fights. And in that lies my biggest complaint and that’s the invincibility of the main characters. Revy can shoot from the hip, no look, right between the eyes while doing flips and yet when she’s running straight at Roberta or Ginji with no cover around she can’t hit them and this happens a lot. Also people shoot in a duel like manner and people stand in a circle around them and somehow no one gets hit. I think the unrealistic fight scenes are really what caused me to not fully enjoy it. From a mature anime standpoint I enjoyed 91 days more than Black Lagoon because 91 days had the believability and realism that was consistent compared to Black Lagoon. Again I fully expected and even tried to make myself like Black Lagoon more than I did but it just didn’t do it for me compared to others even though it was still a good anime.

Great TV series, and good blu-ray product as well. The case art insert is reversible with an alternate cover art of Revy in her daisy dukes lol. Well worth it if you love the show!

Black Lagoon é uma obra prima, pela obra seria 5 estrela sem dúvida alguma, mas vou pelo que recebi. 1. O estojo veio danificado de mais, 2 discos não seguram e ele está partido ao meio. 2. Mais importante, que master é esse? A Funanimation matou a qualidade do anime, grão orgânico que se tornou estático, forte degrade em certas áreas, entendo que eles fizeram uma versão econômica, mas economizaram de mais, eu encodo todos os meus BD para jogar no meu NAS, meus encodes ficam no mesmo tamanho e até menor mantendo a transparência do master. Se você possui olhos aguçados para detalhes, recomendo ficar longe desse imprint da Funanimation, mas infelizmente é o mais acessível que temos no mercado, mas o aviso está dado.
