Well Made
Thick cable, will not flex an break internally like the cheap ones. Time will tell if it stays flexible and doesn't become rigid like the ones made of low quality plastic.

You can't go wrong with Startech unless you really, really tried.
Startech is my goto brand for cabling and other esoteric electronic needs. In all of my years of purchasing Startech, not once has Startech let me down. I am more than willing to pay the extra price for Startech cables above cheaper, less reliable brands. I can not say enough good things about Startech cables. I still have original cables from years ago that simply work. Not so with other brand offerings.

This is a value based company ... although I am not a “tech” person per say ... I have purchased 3 “cables” under this brand. One cable I had to return and have exchanged•replaced, Customer Service was great. Works great for Android Auto
I have a Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX head unit for Android Auto. For connectivity, I have the head unit's included USB C cable routed to my front storage compartment. This cable then plugs into that and connects to my Pixel 3a. No issues whatsoever.
