I fully agree with that comment, as there's no way 5 average sized, 12 oz mugs or pint glasses will fit on the 5 loops. They really should have made only 3 or 4 loops and spaced them out appropriately because now, only 2 or 3 fit.But the bigger issue is that, after using the dish rack for a month and being a household that washes dishes by hand at least once a day, and usually more, we've come to the conclusion that THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DESIGNED BY SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER HAND-WASHED DISHES or ever laid out plates, bowls, mugs or pots to dry on a rack before.1. The bars on the bottom of the rack is oriented the wrong way, length-wise, meaning that no dish edges can be tucked into the bars to be leaned at an angle to drip and dry with space btwn the dishes, without them falling into the draining water (gross).2. The rack as a whole and the way the space is organized is TOO SMALL to put anything more than 2 mugs and a bunch of utensils if the plate rack is in its place, meaning if you use a bowl or have a pot, you can't wash/dry that with your dinner plates and bowls. It's pretty cramped in the main rack since everything has to lay flat on the bottom and the sides aren't tall enough to safely hold a second layer of dishes, and the cup loops are useless and the utensils compartment has to hang on the inside to allow for drainage.3. To maximize space, I've tried hanging the utensils compartment on the outside, but because the drain holes are only along one edge, the angle at which the utensils compartment sits doesn't allow the water to drain from the utensils compartments. I may have to get out my drill and drill some holes along the opposite edge so I can hang the utensils compartment on the outside to maximize space. I will say, that of all the features, having 3 well-sized utensils compartments actually may be one of the best features of this dish rack with so much unfulfilled potential.4. The removable plate rack is WAY TOO UNSTABLE to hold any plate larger than a dessert plate, and dinner plates (7 inches in diameter or larger) wobble and feel like they'll tip over in the unstable plate rack, so it's useless and we've removed it entirely from its place in the main rack.5. The removable, extra drain pan is somewhat useful, and that's where the plate rack has gone, to hold things like travel mug lids and other small, light plastic things. But I would not place newly washed cups and mugs upside down to drain on that extra drain pan because the little round nubs aren't tall enough to keep the edge of the cup off the drained water. Also, the spaces around the nubs are difficult to keep clean as mineral deposits and water stains build up quickly and looks dirty.The actual best part, and the only reason why I decided to keep this instead of returning it, was that it's supposed to be stainless steel and plastic--which translates to RUST-FREE. My last dish rack was big enough and way less "fancy" and also very, very cheap and rusted. I decided to spring for a better quality dish rack, shell out $60 and take a chance on this one. So far, no rust, so there's that, and it's pretty sturdy as a whole (minus that unstable, flimsy plate rack that'll probably be the reason why I replace all of my plates one day.Next time, more market research with homemakers and others with experience washing dishes would be critical before you mass produce the sell products for $60. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Versatile and Looks Fantastic! *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 22, 2020* I was a little hesitant to purchase this Dish Rack as it seemed to have mixed reviews and was a little above what I wanted to pay. We have horrible humidity where I live and I am always concerned about rust and mold - this unit looked like it had less metal and more plastic which is why I went ahead with the purchase. When the unit arrived I was not disappointed and quite impressed with how cool it looked and the ability to use different sections of the rack separately to have more space for drying. The pros and cons are:PROS-1) Unit can be separated so plates can be in the sink drying on the detachable plate tray which then frees up the entire rack for other dishes. The bottom has a slide out tray for extra space.2) Unit looks fantastic and neat on the counter3) Not as much metal for potential rust4) Unit is easy to clean5) Much more room for utensils than most dish drying racksCONS-1) The water at the bottom of the tray does not seem to drain well and most of the time needs to be tilted to drain water completely2) The additional drying tray on the bottom is great, however, water drips everywhere since it also has a groove for draining. We end up putting a towel under the bottom rack to dry up excess3) Pricing is a little highIf you are looking for a great dish rack and this is an acceptable price range - I would definitely suggest this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flexible configuration *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 24, 2020* I've lost count of how many dish racks I've gone through. The biggest issue is that they rust over time. I've had this rack for about 3 months so far and it shows no signs of rust. Next most important feature for me is that it holds a lot of items of varying shapes and sizes. The removeable plate stand allows me to free up space for cups and other items that need a flat resting place. But most of the time I leave the plate stand in place and use it hold small cutting boards, and lids, as well as plates. One thing I would change would be to make the utensil cup deeper so it can hold longer handled tools. Because the utensil cup is shallow, these tools sometimes fall out.
