## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these front firing or rear firing speakers?**
A: Front firing. There is no rear port on these speakers. In my case, they are placed in corners and there are no sound issues (that I can hear) related to their front firing design.

**Q: Is the bass good enough on the rb 61s to use for 2 channel stereo with no subwoifer?**
A: I am using these speakers for two channel stereo and they are outstanding, as such. But the bottom end cuts off at 45 Hz. The RB61 II's are a big, large size bookself speaker, which I feel are really between a bookself and floor standing speaker and this gives an excellent voice. A humans hearing is 20 to 20,000 Hz, so a suboofer with todays speakers, including the RB61 II, improves and fills in the lower end of the sound spectrum, but you may be satisfied with what they deliver alone, because they are an excellent large speaker.

**Q: I CANT DECIDE BETWEEN RB 61 II OR RB 81 II**
A: I have the RB 61 II and I use them with a Polk audio subwoofer. They are tremendous. The sound is big, full and rich and they fill my house. They are perfectly balanced, requiring no equalization. I faced the same decision and I'm very happy I chose the 61's. They really rock my world.

**Q: Can these be used as rear speakers with courus 2's in the front or will they get overwhelmed? I am using a Denon avr x 4100w.
Is 125w too much power**
A: They are very efficent speakers and they can handle high power too.
