Still works but seems to pick up full brightness at about 6.5v right under its rated 7v minimum and stays consistent to the top end of voltage range. Idk what you would use this for but seems like better quality than most so far. I’m just going to mount it to the hood of my RC car so I can make trajectory adjustments better doing speed runs at night lol. Plenty bright for my needs. Haven’t tested in daylight yet but green usually picks up better and this wasn’t sold as a daytime laser. For the price - excellent! *by N***U on November 20, 2022* We were working on a fun project- building a "laser swamp" (look it up on youtube!) The full kits are sold for the tune of $400 a piece, so this laser is a great money-saver! (I highly recommend to purchase laser brackets for them as well, it will make leveling A LOT easier!) All lasers worked, but there was a visible brightness variance from unit to unit. It would also be a lot better if the spread angle were 90°, not 60°.
