Laser Module VLM-650-28 LPT Red Laser Line Generator (ECONOMICAL LINE LASER)

This thing is tiny. I’m talking smol compared to other lasers I’ve purchased. Bought this specifically for the higher voltage range forgetting that my power supply changed to 5.5vdc. Still works but seems to pick up full brightness at about 6.5v right under its rated 7v minimum and stays consistent to the top end of voltage range. Idk what you would use this for but seems like better quality than most so far. I’m just going to mount it to the hood of my RC car so I can make trajectory adjustments better doing speed runs at night lol. Plenty bright for my needs. Haven’t tested in daylight yet but green usually picks up better and this wasn’t sold as a daytime laser.

We were working on a fun project- building a "laser swamp" (look it up on youtube!) The full kits are sold for the tune of $400 a piece, so this laser is a great money-saver! (I highly recommend to purchase laser brackets for them as well, it will make leveling A LOT easier!) All lasers worked, but there was a visible brightness variance from unit to unit. It would also be a lot better if the spread angle were 90°, not 60°. Anyhow, they worked well in the project, the swamp was amazing!

There’s not a whole lot to say other than it works as described in the description and specifications. My application doesn’t require visibility in full sunlight but it’s nice and bright indoors and a huge step up from a red laser of comparable power. I took a chance on this because it had a 3.2 rating when I purchased it. From my experience, it should be at least a 4.5. I’m ordering another and will change my rating/review if needed.

I grabbed a 9 volt battery and tested it out, and was really excited at how bright it was. Green is such a cool lazer color! I have NO idea how im suposed to permanently power this thing (i want to mount it on a big wooden block i use for burning incense) i tried googling what to do but theres not much information (if there is i have no idea what to look for) But yea the lazer is awesome! But if you have no idea how to hook stuff like this up... maybe find something else.

Used this wired into a 9-volt battery as a cut-line indicator on a panel saw. Build the whole thing for under fifty bucks, whereas the factory model was over two hundred and was a weak red line. This is very bright and visible in daylight at my use distance of about three feet.

i wired this to a 9 volt transformer, it worked for around 5 minutes now it does nothing. complete waste of time and money. 5 minutes. Im being serious. these things didn't use to happen I honestly hate to leave a review like this but really, this is just a rip off. Don't sell people garbage. Everyone is having a hard time as it is

I like the brass packaging - it is built to last which is why I selected this one over the much cheaper one available in Amazon. I also like the fact that it is Class--II < 1mw laser. However, the optics has much to be desired, the line is thick - 2-3mm at the center and not uniform - it is getting narrower toward the edges. It also stop being continuous at the edges and start to be choppy. This is NOT suitable for 3D scan. This could be a defective unit. I will try to replace and provide update

Bought to replace laser guide on Ryobi sliding mitre saw as unable to get exact replacement. Slightly longer than original laser but same diameter. Fitted OK with only a small change to holder and works a treat.

rispetto a prodotti di minore prezzo la linea laser risulta meno definita (a distanza di 20cm si vede non una riga ma una "ellisse" con asse minore di 5mm), in oltre anche alimentato a 5v la riga risulta meno visibile di altro prodotto più economico.
