These shoes are very thin (which is a personal benefit because I live in a hot climate) and thus the material does not seem to hold up too well, seconds after putting them on I can see the thin leather begin to crease. These don't seem to be the best for a demanding job, I got them for uniform and they look very nice but I anticipate I will need to invest in a nice pair soon. The sole is very thin but fortunately removable so I was able to put a nice insert in. I'm a 9/9.5 and I went with the 9.5. Fits good for length. My heel slips slightly (may me just me though). The slip resistance seems pretty okay so far. Things I do like is the light weight feel and the style, they arent too bulky. If you requre these for a non demanding job then they will suffice. Even with the wide size and 1/2 size larger than needed, they are still too narrow and not comfortable. I will be returning them.
