Hapi Snacks, Spicy Sriracha Peas, 9.9 oz

Love these so much! I found them once in a grocery store years ago, and they have always been delicious! Just the perfect amount of kick to them, and crunchy like I love. I wish they made a gallon bucket or something of them haha.

YUM! Totally addicting. I have always liked Hapi wasabi peas and sriracha peas. This is the first time I have purchased them online. I enjoy picking up one of these colorful cans of Sriracha peas to snack on on occasion. I sometimes buy them instore, but it has been great to see them available here as an online purchase. They are crunchy, but don't hurt my sensitive teeth. They are spicy in a flavorful way- the heat doesn't seem to build. I am not a fan of hot and spicy, and I find that sriracha sauce and sriracha flavored items seem to be more about flavor that plain heat. I love that. Besides making for a yummy crunchy snack, the containers are great. My inner hoarder wants to save them all and find some use for them. Mine were fresh. I actually don't eat a lot at once, but I do grab a handful here and there. I think that is best way to eat them. Like with many flavorful, highly seasoned foods, the tastebuds get fatigued. So I keep the taste fresh by just eating a little at a time.

I love these, they are really tasty and flavorful. Your guaranteed to eat the whole thing. Once you pop you can't stop.

This brand also makes Wasabi Peas. Both are a unique snack. They both are spicy but approach that two different ways. Wasabi has an instant effect when sucked on to your nose and eyes. Past the initial shock they are fairly gentle but you will not know the difference based on how potent they are at first. Sriracha is a whole different lot. They are a sweet chili taste. They do tend to be pretty spicy in the mouth but they rather have a long lasting effect beyond first taste. I enjoy both but there is only so much I can enjoy once and a while. I will note that both are packaged well. I hardly ever find hardened peas made by this brand versus generic varieties. The cans are vacuumed sealed with an oxygen absorbing packet so you are guaranteed a fresh product.

I’m not even a super huge fan of siratcha but these were so good!! My partner originally bought these at a specialty store for himself but I ended up eating almost the whole thing as i was hooked! The nice amount of spice and the sweetness of the pea with the satisfying crunch. A flavor I feel I almost can’t describe fully. But trust me it’s good! I was so happy to see they were on Amazon and I didn’t have to travel across the city for more. I ordered them for all my sisters to try too. If you’re on the fence still, We both know you’ve had a wilted salad bag in your fridge that you never ate, so why not try something that costs the same and doesn’t expire right away if you forget about it. Also to reseal is so easy with the lid, so no fumbling with a chip clip lol.

The peas themselves are fine, but the metal container has a serious safety issue. After opening it with the pull tab, the edges around the inner lid are dangerously sharp and can easily cut you. This is a major design flaw that needs fixing. To avoid injury, I’d recommend transferring the contents to a Ziploc bag as soon as you open it.

Used to get these at a local Asian market, but then without warning, they stopped selling them!! I much prefer these versus wasabi peas and I'm quite thankful I can get them for the same price as the grocery store as on Amazon! I have to limit these to a subscription of once a month, otherwise I would be eating these all the time! I might be an oddball and enjoy these as my "croutons" for salads and prefer these to popcorn for movie snacks!

I love these stupid things. They're garlicy, spicy and crunchy. I just love them but they are pretty high in calories so watch out when going to town on these bad boys.

These are spicy and satisfyingly crunchy. I love hapi brand snacks but these are so hard to find as they are always sold out (for good reason). Do yourself a favor if you LOVE Sriracha, buy these!

Great snack! Perfect combination of sweet and spicy. I can't take much spice but my boyfriend loves Sriracha so I bought them thinking only he would like them but we both are enjoying them. They're spicy but the sweet helps balance the spice a little.

For the price, I was definitely expecting a little more kick. Be careful though, these are not just Sriracha flavoured - there's a sweet garlic hint in them as well which is labeled on the can in the sub heading. I probably won't buy this again.
