Vornado FIT Personal Air Circulator Fan with Fold-Up Design, Directable Airflow, Compact Size, Perfect for Travel or Desktop Use, Black

These have been great little TRAVEL fans. Put out quite a bit of air. Great square shape, thin, flat back, and folding base make it easy to PACK in a suitcase. For those of us who are “addicted” to running a fan at night, perfect for hotels. It was especially wonderful for our European travel (though you need an electric converter and plug adapter to use it overseas) because many of the hotels, historic old hotels, and all the old castles we stayed it didn’t have A/C and got a bit stuffy in the rooms, even in September. The fan was a HUGH help to circulate a bit of air around a stuffy room. Also, use one on a table by my exercise bike, to help cool me off while exercising. Gave one to my mom to use in her little Assisted Living studio apartment.

This is an excellent travel fan! It’s large enough to give the air flow that you’d want in a hotel room but it’s not too big to be able to throw in your suitcase. It has a good “feel” to it- just heavy enough to know its quality made. Plus the brand is one I’ve found to be reliable. I love it!

I’ve been using the Vornado FIT Personal Fan since March, and overall I really like it. The airflow is great for its size, it’s quiet, and — my favorite part — it fits easily into my luggage without taking up much space. It’s become my go-to travel fan because it folds up small and is super lightweight. The only drawback is the folding stand. After about four months, one of the stand legs snapped off in my suitcase, and the second one finally broke last month when I folded it back in while packing. The fan itself still works perfectly, but the stand is definitely the weak point and needs to be beefed up. Even with that issue, I ended up ordering a replacement because I really do like the design and performance. If Vornado can strengthen the folding stand, this would be an almost perfect travel fan.

Took this on a cruise and it worked great. Small enough to pack in luggage with enough white noise to make it pleasant. Also for such a small size stirs quite a bit of wind.

This Vornado fan is the perfect size for travel or to set inside a partially open window. It is quiet and provides a strong airflow. However, the plastic hinges on the base are difficult to operate and I have to force them open from a closed position. I can already tell that I will probably break them at some point from forcing them to fold. After 5 uses, the fan tipped over from high-speed vibration inside my window sill...and one corner of the plastic base chipped off. Note that the fan did not fall to the floor...it just fell on its side inside the window...and broke off a plastic corner. The plastic base on this fan is incredibly cheaply made and seriously detracts from the quality of an otherwise well-made product. If I could go back in time, I'd cut a piece of plywood and duct tape it to the bottom of this fan - and leave the fan permanently unfolded at the base.

This is the ultimate travel fan! It is a little powerhouse than gives us the air movement we need in a hotel room. It is lightweight and durable. The cord is plenty long and the legs to support it are strong, yet flatten down to fir in a travel bag. We even packed this fan for a Jamaica vacation. We never travel without this!

I'm a frequent traveler who can't sleep without white noise going all night. My long-term trusty travel fan died, and the model is no longer made. I found the Vornado on Amazon and ordered one. I went out of town for two nights recently and gave it a try. It's fantastic. It's 9-inches square, folds flat, very lightweight, fits easily in my carry-on bag, and has two speeds. It emits a soothing sound and doesn't rattle or move. A/C only. I'm so happy I found this fan. I sleep well knowing I can sleep well.

Note: Purchased used for reduced price. That said: packaging was slightly damaged and had been re-taped. Product inside was unharmed and had but a few fingerprints. Wiped up nicely. This is a corded fan and does not need batteries. There was a remote in the box, however no instructions as to what it is for. The black fan has a nice design me the black color looks great on my desk at work. I work in a large stifling hot and stale room with many desks. We are all wearing headsets. This fan on low power is quiet enough for those in the room who are on calls or in video meetings. I have the fan pointed directly at me and it helps me get through the day without breaking a sweat! The high power is much more effective but the noise affects my coworkers. But overall a great little desk fan that meets its intended function and is very affordable.

This fan was available for sale on amazon.co.uk and it was not made clear that this fan comes with a US plug so cannot be used in the UK without a converter. If you are in the UK and are thinking about buying this fan, do not buy it as you won't be able to easily use it. I will be returning mine.

Really good little fan. Keep it on my nightstand & it’s perfect for a warm night. Very quiet.

I bought this fan for my son to stay in a residence at university that did not have air conditioning. He was flying there so needed something small in his suitcase. This fan was a lifesaver. He used it every day for a whole summer, and when our central air broke down temporarily this year he pulled out his trusty fan and was the only one of us who was comfortable. For a small fan it works great, is quite and is portable. A great purchase.
