Very satisfied with the smooth performance of these shift cables. Very easy to install. Having a good set of cable cutters prevents fraying.

I made the mistake of not noticing the clear (but small) labeling that showed there is only one inner cable per pack, and had to order again :-( Optislick is the best! My Tarmac SL5 had old, clear polymer coated Dura-ace shift cables when I bought it, and they were shedding the coating and clogging up the cable housings. So I switched over to Optislick cables and have never had that problem again. With a light schmear of silicone grease applied during installation, these cables are the slickest, best shifting cables you could ever want! Just don’t make the mistake I made of thinking that there are two in this pack, and you’ll be fine.

Shimano Optislick shifting cable and housing are great choice for replacing worn cable and housing for your road bike.

This is genuine Shimano cable I have replaced on my high end Trek bicycle with Dura Ace components. Just be careful when installing it in a brake or shift housing not to "kink" it or you probably will have a failure a few years down the road like I did. Well worth the money as it will never rust and has a very thin plastic coating for smooth shifts.
