So well written. More about global climate than ocean life. A Landmark Publication
Rachael Carson is an American hero, this is a must read if you want to live safely and securely on out planet. She was ahead of us all! Her vision, presented in a quiet, intelligible, rational manner commands your attention. A brave concerned author, a beautiful writer and a landmark study of "the sea around us." Magnificent.

Maybe the first, and still perhaps the best science bestseller. The book begins with the encompassing "mother sea" that once covered the whole earth, and from which the first forms of life evolved in a captivating fashion.

Very interesting reading written by a person with sharp senses
Reading Rachel Carson’ book is like a leisurely stroll along a beach on a day when everything is perfect! Her writing transforms you to another space in time!

I enjoy reading this book and learning/refreshing this fragile nature. We all must protect it.

Il font usato deve essere meno di 10 pt. Veramente troppo piccolo per leggere con piacere, troppo stancante. The font size is way too small for pleasurable reading, 10 pt maybe. A real disappointment.
