Better Call Saul Season 4

Terrific acting by all. Clever plots. I have enjoyed all previous seasons, but reckon this one is the best, so far. Sorry when it ended. Had to start viewing my Breaking Bad discs to fill the void.

Saul good man

If you have seen Breaking Bad this will apeal as its how 'Saul Goodman' got to where he was in it, it can seem a bit slow at times but its entertaining and thought provoking.

Initially I was unsure about buying Better Call Saul. I loved Breaking Bad and thought this would be a bit of a let down. It is not. The previous series 1-3 are brilliant. Jimmy Mc Gill emerges as his character Saul and it explains how all his shady dealings in BB come about. If you like BB it is well worth the purchase. If I am honest, I prefer Better Call Saul to Breaking Bad. The flashbacks and flash forwards are very clever and leave you wondering were they will eventually fit in. As the stories progress all becomes clear and the jigsaw complete. The acting and casting are magnificent, with some of the BB cast being slowly and cleverly introduced. I cannot wait for the next series when the final pieces are in situ.

Really good series. Mikey carries this show sometimes, as does Rhea Seehorn. All building up quite nicely now that Gus is in it. Lots of menace around the corner.

Loved the whole series, along with Breaking Bad! Anyone that's not seen them needs to!

Delivered very quickly in perfect condition. After watching the first 3 seasons I just had to watch this. Brilliant.

"Better Call Saul" deserved all of the plaudits it received in its first three seasons. The series follows one of the many memorable characters from "Breaking Bad," Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), as he curdles into Saul Goodman. This DVD set contains all ten episodes of the fourth season of "Better Call Saul" that originally aired on AMC from August to October in 2018. This season moves Jimmy ever closer to his role in the parent series, tracking him during his year-long suspension from practicing law. He reacts to the death of his brother Chuck (Michael McKean), continues his relationship with fellow lawyer Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), and becomes more adept at dealing with the seamier elements of Albuquerque while beginning to build the clientele he would "serve" as Saul Goodman. The absorbing plot concerning Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), and the Salomanca drug ring runs alongside. As in "Breaking Bad," creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould use unique and creative camera angles to help tell the stories, and again this season the writing is superb, the characters are compelling (I would watch a spinoff concerning virtually any of the show's main characters), and the cinematography of Albuquerque and the surrounding New Mexico desert is as good as it gets. Fans eagerly await the last season or two of this instant classic.

Cette quatrième saison est dans le droit fil des précédentes, avec un rythme lent qui épouse celui du changement psychologique de Jimmy McGill et sa transformation complète dans l'avocat véreux que l'on a connu dans "Breaking Bad". La jonction avec la série-mère est de fait de plus en plus palpable, les personnages de Mike Erhmentraut et Gustavo Fring étant plus développés que par le passé. Au total, on a une quatrième saison délectable, avec un jeu d'acteurs toujours d'une qualité incroyable, à l'image de la photographie et du montage. On peut juste espérer que les producteurs n'ont pas en tête d'étirer l'histoire trop en longueur et qu'ils sauront se contenter d'une seule saison finale pour clôturer le parcours de Jimmy McGill vers Saul Goodman, quitte à la doter de douze ou quinze épisodes au lieu des dix réglementaires. Et on ne peut qu'espérer un ultime épisode qui nous montrerait la rencontre de Walter White avec Saul Goodman, vue cette fois du point de vue de l'avocat et non de l'apprenti narco-trafiquant.
