I really like this bat! I coach little league baseball and like this bat, both for helping the kids with their swing and for me to hit grounders to them on the field. The quality of my bat is very high. It is made of a single piece of wood, with the grain running perfectly straight down the bat. It seems likely to last a very long time and unlikely to break. I do wish Rawlings wouldn’t tape the label to the wood. The adhesive is quite sticky and nearly impossible to get off. But that is asthetics and doesn’t impact the bat’s use.

Product is fine, but the Rawlings label is incredibly sticky. Will leave a thick residue that needs work to remove.

I purchased this Rawlings Big Stick One Hand Training Bat (25” Model: 251) to incorporate into our hitting progression drills, focusing on helping my son stay on the ball better and refine his mechanics. My son has really improved his swing path, front side stability, and overall bat control using this tool for one-hand drills, soft toss, and tee work. It’s helped him build hand strength without feeling too heavy (around 1.6 lbs), and the unfinished pro look gives it that authentic feel. If you’re coaching youth baseball or softball and want an effective, affordable training aid, this is highly recommended! The picture of the bat is after one year of use.
