Amps X Volts= Watts. Mine is 1.0amp X 120v = 120watts used. That is assuming the voltage is constant at 120v. Normal voltage from power companies can vary from 114 to 126 on any given day. Higher voltage results in slightly lower running amps and vise versa. The formula above works in any situation. Refer to Ohm's Law for expanded chart. **Q: any assembly required?** A: The problem is that the questions are for 7-8 different models of fans. The fans are all different. The fan I purchased (and will be returning) Model 2535 requires some assembly, 5 screws for the base. I should of plug the fan in before I put it together, b/c it is the worst fan I ever owned. In fact, its so bad, Ill never buy another Lasko. I can't feel it pass 2 feet. I get more air movement from an old computer p/s supply fan. I know most Lasko fans are very good, but after buying this one and now having to pack it up and ship it back I'm turned off with their products. Also the remote battery cover broke the first time I opened it to put the battery's in. **Q: This may be a dumb question but I'm confused as to why this needs batteries.
