Worth the Price
Blown away. Fantastic piece of kit, revolutionised the way we play at our table. High quality, Pens work on this mat and are removed easily with a little water/cleaner

Would purchase again.
Nice and durable mat. Came as expected and has a nice rubbery texture. Does not come with any sort of container which would be nice.

Hex side is NOT easily cleaned. WHY??
My and my friend's mat does not erase easily on the hex-side. We have tried all sorts of household cleaners. There is still visible markings left from regular pilot and staedtler witeboard pens (all colors). The only thing that has worked is alcohol (ethanol or isopropyl in high concentrations). The manufacturer has given no response on if this is normal, if it is a defect, or if it deserves a refund. It is frustrating because the square side is absolutely amazing. In the end, the marketing feels false for me and my friend. The mat is still good, as the marks are faint enough that you can bare it and make occasional deeper cleans with alcohol. But it is disappointing. Something here is wrong. I just wish I could get some answers, or a mat that is easily erased on both sides. (the picture is erasing just after the markings have dried. It gets worse if left longer)

So good I bought a second instantly
Exactly what the title says. Upon receiving this item and using it I bought a second. The mat keeps dry wipe marker on it without smudging. You can safely write then stow it. Since it's silicone this also acted as a table topper. Multipurpose yo

The perfect DM tool
Product came loosely folded and ready to use. After unpacking there is no evidence it was ever folded in the first place. Drew out my dungeon a few days before my game and rolled the mat up Even with transportation and moving around all details were still on the Matt and easily rubbed off after I was done. Will be buying more in the future I am sure!

Anti-crease heaven
I used to use Pathfinder mats before and the creases would constantly annoy me, but not with this mat. Not only is it crease free, it's super travel friendly, I managed to fold mine down to quite a compact size which I then held with an elastic band.

Came covered in marks and creases, couldn’t lie flat.
The packaging states that for storage to avoid heavy folding as it will result in marks. How does it arrive in the packaging? Heavily folded. Meaning it comes out ruined, unable to lie flat and making the entire endeavour pointless. I would expect a few little creases after some time by this has thick indents that raise it from the table from the get go. What especially frustrates me is that the packaging also recommends storing it rolled up in a tube, my exact plan- why didn’t you send it to me in one then?

The map is extremely well made and well worth the cost. The material makes it very easy to roll out flat every time and doesn't seem to crease. Because of this, you can fold it up and it takes up so much less room than a standard vinyl mat. Plus, it's extremely good at both holding dry marker without smudging (even with gentle wiping if it gets dirty). So, you can pre-draw stuff and keep it there for a couple weeks before removing it. I'd highly recommend baby wipes as they instantly clear areas and because it's marginally harder to rub out using cloths/hands, though totally possible. Personally, I consider this a plus as it means that marks won't be accidentally smudged or wiped off. There are only two drawbacks I can find, the first being that the material is slightly transparent, so it's possible to see marks through the mat - makes it a little hard to hide predrawn stuff. This just means that you keep the map out of sight until you need it, or go for the standard black card overlay. Not really an issue. The second drawback is that the silicone picks up a mild static charge easily and can collect dirt/hair if used on an unclean surface - such as a bed. Thankfully, this isn't a problem as just gently wiping over it with a dry cloth will remove the dirt without disturbing the drawings and, if it's particularly dirty, I've found that giving it a very gentle rinse in the sink takes care of it. All-in-all, I'd never hesitate to recommend it over the standard vinyl offerings and will probably try to convert other DMs :)

This map is incredible. I had left dry erase markers of every colour (EVEN RED) for more than a month and a baby wipe with a little elbow grease took off the market. It is so fantastic and I recommend this to every dungeon Master. You can carry the mat with you and have minimal worries of the marker coming off. The size is so big I have been averaging about 6 maps on it. Three on each side The squares work really well for indoor dungeons and the hexes work really well for outdoor.

Every party regardless of where they are sitting around the table knows that a map is often the best approach to a campaign or a hectic time limited one-shot where you have a literal two hours to storm the castle and obtain what you are there for. The map puts things into a visual perspective so that there is no real argument on distances when a fireball torches your party. Enter this mat to draw maps on. A lot of us have been gaming for years and as time has gone on we've purchased Mega and Mondomats in order to visually see our campaigns. Now as good, and as durable as they are, they are both expensive for their size and take time to set up as the harder material they are made out of will keep the shape of it being rolled up for the first part of the gaming night requiring coasters or large minis to hold down these edges. What impressed me the most about seeing this mat for the first time wasn't even the mat, but the package that it came in. Shouldn't it have been bigger? Opening the package and seeing it folded up caused me to worry for a few moments as mats should never be folded as those creases will NEVER come out. This was very far from the case. The mat is made from a very soft silicone that easily lays itself out leaving no creases and no need to weight it down while it retakes its original shape. Drawing on it and erasing it are just as easy as wiping off the coffee from that one clumsy player that you always have to worry about. It's ok, we love you all the same! The only possible downside that we've seen is if you have pets. Cat and Dog hair love to stick to it so having a cloth on hand is a must but since you're wiping marker off anyway, there shouldn't be an issue. Overall it's a great mat for the price and we are happy to have ordered a couple for our individual campaigns!

This thing is awesome. It takes up next to no space, does not have creases in it. My only complaint is that it is not overly opaque. So it is hard to pre-draw on the second side and flip.

Easier to carry around than a stack of grid paper. Did need to get white board spray for the lines to come off completely.
