Table Crumb Sweeper White , 2.75 x 5.5 x 1.25 inches

OK, to be honest, at first glance this product seemed cheaply made, and I was doubtful that it would work, but it did! I purchased this to use primarily to clean off crumbs from a tablecloth before throwing the tablecloth in a washing machine. It worked very well with a couple of passes. Seems a bit fragile, but I was able to use it and clean it several times, no problem. I like that it is a small and that it is a simple mechanical device with no need for batteries. If you are looking for an easy, inexpensive way to remove crumbs from a tablecloth on a table, I recommend.

I bought this item thinking it probably did not work well, but at the very low price, I could afford to give it a try. I clean the cloth placemats in a large dining room that has slick plastic-topped tables. This little sweeper works perfectly. I was amazed. The dining room I clean has several types of cloth placemats. This sweeper works best on the thicker, stiffer cloth placemats. Even the placemats with grooves where the crumbs can settle in are easy to clean. I was really amazed at that! In fact, the placemats with little grooves make it easier to sweep up the crumbs -- the crumbs don't scoot away. On thin cloth placemats I have to hold the placemat with one hand and use the sweeper in the other hand and only sweep in one direction. Otherwise the sweeper tends to bunch up the thin cloth placement on the slick tables. The sweeper picks up larger crumbs the quickest and smaller crumbs can take a couple of swipes across the placemat. Small specks of finely ground black pepper (not the ground peper you grind at the table with a pepper mill) that are stuck on a placemat can be difficult. Most black pepper will come off a placemat along with all other crumbs with a few swipes back and forth across a placement. But often there will be one or two specks of finely ground black pepper that will not be dislodged. They don't come up with my little table broom either, I need to use my finger to dislodge those tiny specks of finely ground black pepper. I think the sweeper works so well because the stiffness and length of the bristles are just right for its task. The sweeper comes apart easily for cleaning. I just take it apart and hold it under running water. Perfect. A surprise good purchase.

Works awesome on my cubicle floor! Since our cleaning crew is garbage and I like messy food from the expensive truck outside, this is my lifesaver discouraging roaches and bedbugs from my desk and diverting then toward my enemies.

I really like to use this, especially for all the crumbs on carpet, when we have kids over. I bought two and give one each to a kid and let them at it. It is easy to use and effective. Great for crumbs, even chunky large crumbs, like broken cheerios or goldfish (but not whole pieces which are too big). It also brushes up hair, so every now and then stops turning because of caught hair. If hair is tightly wound around the brush, you have to unroll or cut hair out. Otherwise great buy. Plus points: More quiet than a vacuum. No need for electricity. Fast. Efficient. At least until you can pull out the vacuum. Easy to clean out and use over and over. And Portable. I gifted it to a friend and she keeps one in her diaper bag for when she needs to clean a mess while out and about. Would highly recommend and buy again.

It works OK for crumbs on the carpet but not so good on bare floors or tabletops. The first time I opened it to empty it, the little tab on the side broke off so now it's taped together. Not very good for the price. I probably could have found the exact same item at the dollar store.

I've had a similar one for decades, something my mother used. I purchased this one for a friend who feeds many family members and guests just about all the time. She had never seen one before, and is quite happy with the tiny gift. These used to be called "table butlers," but even though that's cuter, I guess "table sweeper" is more accurate. If you have a problem with crumbs on your table, this is a quick fix, easy to use, and thankfully no "technology" or learning curve involved. It empties easily into the garbage, but doesn't fill up quickly.

I really don't want to push this item simply out of selfishness on my part because I don't want the price to go up due to popularity, but I have not enjoyed cleaning small spills of birdseed or crumbs on the carpet or debris in a car more! This nifty fun device is easy to use and efficient! Be gentle opening it, although nothing ever broke with the side latch, it looks like if you were rough or didn't have the patience to unlatch the little clamp thing on the side of the unit to empty the debris contents it might break. It never has with me, but I can think of a stronger "clampy-thing". Other than that tiny detail, I just love the sweeper like crazy. it's really fun to use and you'd really be surprised how much tiny little particles it can pick up! It really is a MUST for the car or whatever room where things end up on the floor. It works best on fabric and carpets that are low-pile. Burbur or office carpeting should run for the hills, for instance. It's really worth getting!

I remember having this style of quick sweeper while growing up and it's an awesome quick way to clean up some crumbs and smaller messes on the carpet when you don't want to bust out the vacuum. Obviously it's not going to do the work a real vacuum does but for small and quick messes this can't be beat. Just a few sweeping motions with the right amount of pressure on it and it picks up a bunch of stuff from the carpet.

Recoge muy bien todas las migajas del comedos. Solamente la he utilizado con mentel, no puedo opinar sobre su funcionamiento en una cubierta dura.

Works well at picking up crumbs but the roller wheels are hard plastic and can scratch tables that have a fine, blemish-free finish.

After about five weeks this tool is not functional. I bought it to clean up crumbs from cutting loaves of bread. Worked fine initially but now just doesn’t pick up the crumbs well. Came on here to initiate a refund but I was a week late . Stuck with it. Do nit recommend
