Make sure it has a metal connection piece. I am always careful when β€˜bending’ the arms into the connector but it’s never given me much concern. I tend to lift carp with the net broken down or at least holding both the arms as it’s quite heavy when full of water and I feel it could snap. The handle whilst a bit short seems quite strong and I like it. The bad is rubbish and will brake in about a week. **Q: Can’t figure out how you extend the handle??** A: The handle twists to loosen so that it can be extended.
