easy to use and very effective. I sprinkle on the ground around plants and water IN. I have been using this product for several years.

Worked overnight!!
Awesome product! I brought in a new plant that infested everything with fungus gnats worse than Iโve ever had. I bought the outdoor size because I have about 75 houseplants and itโs the same as the smaller size just more volume. I was able to treat them all and have leftover! Used this product over two months ago and the next day I saw only one gnat and over the last two months just a very few around the kitchen drain. I will buy more when I bring the plants that sit outside in the summer back in and retreat them all but this was so easy to use and efficient! Just sprinkle on the dirt and water! No adding to water and filtering out any dunks. Highly recommend!

Cure for gnat problems
We made the mistake of not treating some potting soil before bringing it into the house and were rewarded with a house full of gnats. Sticky traps caught so many gnats they'd look fuzzy a week later. Insecticidal soap didn't work. After 3 weeks I gave up and went with chemical control. Bonide took care of the problem within 3-4 days.

For white fly, scale on plants
This is for systemic (absorbs through the roots) control of insects on plants like white fly, scale. You apply it on the dirt then water it in.

This Works.
I had a REALLY bad fungus gnats problem and I have A LOT of houseplants. The problem was so bad, I was going to get rid of all my plants. But I just didn't want to!! Yellow Sticky Traps and Spray Insecticide provided little relief. First I ordered 4 of the small bottles and used those up. Still had gnats a week later, but improved. At least they weren't flying around my bathroom sink. Then I ordered the big bottle. I put the yellow sticky traps in all the plants to see which plants had a worse case of the gnats. Bonide works well on some plants and takes longer on others. I dosed the plants with worse gnats with more Bonide. I have also noticed that while you do not want to water too much (and lose the Bonide draining out) , you definitely want to water more than a sprinkle, because the product needs to really seep into the plant. Two days later, more improvement, but still an occasional gnat which suggested that some plants were still infested. Again, the yellow sticky traps were my friend and I was able to identify the still infected plants and water 10 days later with yet another dose of Bonide. These were very BIG plants too. As some other reviewers have mentioned, I did have one plant that has started having a few yellow leaves. It was very infected and the first application was ineffective. The rest of the plant looks healthy and I hope it will make it. It is growing new leaves. I watered it with some Miracle Gro. Will see how that works. Overall, this is an expensive product, but if you love your plants you should consider it, I have found nothing better. This big bottle is much more cost effective than the smaller bottles if you have a lot of plants. Best of luck to you all getting rid of those nasty little gnats!! They are so annoying! UPDATE: I am free of those damn gnats. The one plant definitely keeps getting more yellow leaves (it was seriously infected) but I am cutting them off. There are multiple new shoots that are not growing in yellow. I am also using it when I re-pot, and mixing into the soil. No new problems. It took a long time for the plants to heal, and when they say that fungus gnats are harmless, I disagree. They really harmed some baby plants that did not make it, and stunted the growth of others. They are all now coming back and healthy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

No mess application, worked from the plant's roots up to the crowns.
My Boxwoods were infected with Leaf Miners. Two treatments took care of the brown spots with the dark centers, and it was very easy to apply.

better than the 8-oz bottle
Bonide (BND95349) - Insect Control Systemic Granules, 0.22% Imidacloprid Insecticide (4 lb.) I first got Bonide BND951 which is an 8-oz bottle of 0.22% Imidacloprid marked "for containerized plants". It was very effective in getting rid of /controlling scales and thrips on my 50+ indoor plants but I didn't want to keep paying $9 for just 8 oz of the insecticide. Bonide (BND95349) is also labelled as containing 0.22% Imidacloprid Insecticide but is marked "for use outdoors on flower beds, roses and shrubs". It still contains the same concentration of Imidacloprid as Bonide BND951 so I got it and used it/am using it on my indoor plants. I wish companies would just stop it with the package size price gouging. Really? $9 for 8 oz while a 4-lb (64 oz) bottle is $19.99? There's another product that contains 0.22% imidacloprid - BioAdvanced 5 lb. 2-in-1 Systemic Rose and Flower Care Ready-to-Use Granules. However, there's another version of it which contains acephate instead of imidacloprid. I didn't know there were two versions when I ordered it. My experience from ordering it from HD, is that they will ship the version that's allowed in your state for outdoor use. They will not tell the customer that theyโre not going to send the item ordered (as advertised) but will send a substitute/different version. Unfortunately, imidacloprid is banned in Illinois for outdoor use so I received the acephate version which is very very stinky (not suitable for use indoors). That went back to HD and I went back to Amazon to order Bonide (BND95349). I wasn't going to take a chance on ordering the BioAdvanced item from Amazon in case Amazon does the same and sends me the acephate version. I understand the danger to pollinators but my plants are all indoors, behind screened windows and doors, and so will never encounter pollinators. I wish regulations consider where people are going to use a product. I also understand though that some people are probably going to lie about where they're going to use a product.
