O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop with Telescopic Handle

are you tired of sweeping with a broom? do you have pet hair all over your tile/wood floors? are you tired of buying swiffer pads that can only be used once? then the microfiber mop is for you. i have a dog who is a heavy shedder and even after sweeping with a regular broom there's a lot of hair left behind. take this microfiber mop for a spin around your house and you'll see how much dust, pet hair, human hair and other junk your mop will pick up. i like that you can flip from the side that is more like a pad to the side which has the microfiber fingers. best thing about it, when you have all that trash captured just pick up the mop and wipe the trash away. also you can just clean this by hand or wash it when it gets dirty and be ready to use it again once its dry. no more having to purchase the one-time use swiffer towels. i'm very pleased with this. no one likes cleaning so why not get something that makes the job quicker while keeping your floors clean.

You know it has to be good when your husband picks it up within 30 seconds of opening the box and starts "mopping" the living room floor. He was amazed at how much dirt it picks up! I hate to use the word "mop" as that to me means a lot of work. This mop makes it super easy. It's like gliding across the floor. 2 minutes and we are done with our whole living room. With 3 dogs, we always have plenty of dirt and hair to pick up. This works great. I'll be getting some more covers for it, since my husband uses it all the time (getting rid of the dirt helps keep his asthma at bay). I originally bought it for the concrete outside, but it has never made it outside as my husband likes it so much for inside! The handle does tend to unscrew a bit, but hasn't come off. I'm sure my husband will find an easy way to fix that.

I noted the dimensions before ordering, but was still surprised by how large the mop head was, It takes me about 5 seconds to sweep my kitchen area, but it's small. Anyone with large rooms to do, commercial buildings, pets, kids, or slobs in general will appreciate how well the blue chenille picks up crud and hair - it's like a magnet. It swivels every which way and takes a little getting used to. The trick is to keep it on the floor until done, because it keeps swiveling and flopping around. My floors aren't too bad so I usually just brush or run the hand vac over it afterwards. The other side is for light damp mopping, which I like to use a spray bottle of water for. The double sided pad is supposedly good for 100 machine washes, and new ones are widely available. Its best feature, however, is the slim profile. It actually fits into the 1.75" inch dead space between the fridge and wall, so basically takes up no room at all for how big it is. Hope that made sense.

This thing is great for laminate floors! The blue chenille side picks up all the dust, every bit of it, down to stuff so fine you can't even see it on the floor. The microfiber side gets rid of random marks and gives the floor a nice "polish" to boot. The head flips easily between the two sides. The head also rotates and swivels so it can be used in any orientation needed to get into every corner. And it lies as flat as you need it to lie to get under furniture, including beds. The whole thing is nice and light, a bonus for me as I'm getting on in years and need to take it a bit easier these days. Finally, I love the fact that I can just wash the mop-head, saving money and saving the landfill from all those disposable thingies. I bought an extra mop-head, so there's one to use while the other is being laundered. This is a gem!

Picks up everything & still in original condition after several washes. I have 2 large shedding dogs and with this I can clean all the floors (wood & tile) in my house in about 30 minutes (1 story/2 bedroom). I sweep with a normal broom for the big/jagged stuff then breeze by with the dust (?) surface of this mop. I brush it clean with my hand a few times during the process to remove excess dust/dog hair. Then I can swing through with the flat side with a little floor cleaner/water. Then I just rinse it off in the tub. After a few go's I will throw it in the wash with my dish towels etc.. Love the surface area on this thing. Super fast. The more convenient it is to clean the more often I will clean! Buy this instead of those swifter wet mops! Save tons of money.

It's large and works great. This mop covers a lot of floor on one swipe, a lot more than a Swiffer. All you have to do is remove the pad, get it wet in warm water, wring it out and start mopping. It rinses out clean after using it, too. After two or three uses you can just throw the pad in the washer with your towels and it really cleans well. I did not put the pad in the dryer, but simply put it back on the mop to let it dry. It dries quickly. I'm enjoying this mop and the price is good. I would recommend it.

Love it for quick sweeping of my floors. I have dark tiled floors that show the pet hair and dust all the time. This is super easy to use and when I get all of the dirt/hair into one pile, I just grab a small dust pan & brush for that final clean up. The only downside that I see is that the handle comes unscrewed if you twist the mop one direction - I think they could have found a way to secure it so that you can easily twist it either directions with out the handle trying to come unscrewed. Easily fixed by the consumer with some duct tape, but addressing it at the production end would make it even better.

This mop has some functionality issues. It never occurred to me after reading the dimensions that the handle would not be long enough to use comfortably. I am 5'1" and the length of the mop causes me to bend over too much in order to mop efficiently. Luckily, I swapped out the handle from my old mop and now the new O-Cedar mop is at about a 50% functionality rating. I give it only about 50% because the other problem has to do with changing out the mop head while it is wet. For the way that I use a mop, I rinse the mop head each time I finish a room. That means I remove the head, dunk it in the wash water, squeeze it out and put it back on the head. Putting the wet mop sponge thing back on the plastic head is like trying to put a wet swimsuit on a wiggly six year old. I'll get the hang of it I am sure but this is the second reason for the bad rating. The service from Amazon and O-Cedar was great. The product looks fairly durable and the mop sponge is of a good quality. Due to the two design flaws though, this mop isn't my first choice for when I buy another mop. If the mop handle were about 12 inches longer and the head was easier to use, then I would recommend the product. Otherwise, I couldn't do it in good conscience.
