Review: Carefully examine all photos for the orientation of the parts. Saves reassembly! - I have completed more that a dozen of these wood model kits. This was both the best organized and best fitting kit I have tried. Everything is of a thicker material and is well marked and easy to locate. I at first questioned the use of toothpicks for assembly, but I must admit it works very well. The directions could be a little more explanatory, with some further written explanations. My experience allowed me to complete some assemblies without the detailed directions, but this kit may not be good for beginners. All in all , there is great satisfaction is the completed product.
Review: A Real Conversation Starter. - The quality of this kit is absolutely amazing. This is not my first rodeo, far from it. Each part of this kit has been cut with a very fine laser. The pieces don't pop out of the sheet of plywood but close to it. Tiny, tiny slivers hold each piece in the sheet of plywood. Just press gently and they pretty much fall out. The instructions did not include a word, just drawings. Each step or operation was clearly diagramed. The kit included rubber bands, a small sheet of sand paper as well as a tiny piece of paraffin to lubricate the gears. In addition round toothpicks, provided, are used to hold many pieces together. Tried as hard as I was able to lubricate and reposition, I was never able to get the engine to move an inch on its own. The strength of the rubber bands was not enough to over come the friction of the wood. It is still a conversation piece. Anyone that sees it has a question or comment about it.

A: The locomotive itself is approx. 15 inches long.  The train car is approx. 10 inches long.

**Q: Hello, does this kit also come with the track shown in the video? If so, how long is the track run? thx**
A: You build the track which is straight and 18” long

**Q: Where is this train manufactured?**
A: I believe it was made in Ukraine.

**Q: Can you buy extra track?**
A: I don't think you can buy extra track, but the train does move when assembled properly and will travel two to four feet across a low knap carpet depending upon how much you wind it up.  It is really interesting watch all the parts and gears working.

I have completed more that a dozen of these wood model kits. This was both the best organized and best fitting kit I have tried. Everything is of a thicker material and is well marked and easy to locate. I at first questioned the use of toothpicks for assembly, but I must admit it works very well. The directions could be a little more explanatory, with some further written explanations. My experience allowed me to complete some assemblies without the detailed directions, but this kit may not be good for beginners. All in all , there is great satisfaction is the completed product.

The quality of this kit is absolutely amazing. This is not my first rodeo, far from it. Each part of this kit has been cut with a very fine laser.
