Brilliant for walking in sun and high winds like going over the Pyrenees.
Great. I like wearing it with a pirates knot. I may look ridiculous but it keeps the sweat from pouring from my forehead into my eyes. The suntan lotion would then sting my eyes. It is also great in high winds as you can put it round your neck and pull it over your head. For me, it will always be associated with doing the Camino de Santiago.

Good for summer use
I bought a Camino de Santiago version, with the main towns and route printed on it. I found it great for keeping the sun off my neck, and being able to make it into a hat was useful too. If you want one for winter, I'd get a different, thermal one, but for days when its not too cold I find it very useful.

Very disappointed
I have dozens of genuine Buffs, Merino and fleece, hats and caps, from flouro and reflective to muted greens and browns, they've all been extremely comfortable.Not this one.I've had it a few months. In the hope it may loosen up but no joy to date. The material has very little stretch and this is way too tight. Buying it was a mistake.
